Saw two black corollas on my way to carlingford at around 4 - 4:30ish

1. North Rocks road followed me all the way from bunnings. facelift hatch levin, jdm taillight mod, front runx badge. I think it might be brad?

2. Turning right from pennant hills rd. Sedan, jdm front mesh with tsport badges i think. Also had TRD Toyota sticker on the front windscreen. I think I saw you again as I turned out onto pennant hills rd from the shell station and followed me all the way and turned into carlingford village

My install

They were a major pain as the t5 bases didn't fit properlly in the holes so i had to cut them smaller. Also they didn't work for a while and figured it was the contacts and played around for about 1.5 hours before I got them all to work. A HUGE thanks to Yuro who helped me out on this today

Update: Red LED console mod done =D

The angel eyes just require a power source to turn them on. so you can tap into parkers/normal lights/indicators (lol?)

Anyone who deliberately tints their windows darker than legal and then drives on the road is an idiot, plain and simple. And I see nothing wrong with the police trying to get idiots off the road. For once this is an announcement to NSW drivers that doesn't effect anyone who isn't an idiot (unlike say the suspension laws that were recently knocked back), so I don't see the concern

I disagree with you hiro. I got my tints at 20% and I don't believe that I'm an idiot driver or is proud of having darker than legal tints. And I know many people who have gotten darker tints to help with the heat especially in black cars. But yes just my opinion

Where did you buy the projectors from? They look very nice.

I got them from ebay. do a search for "projector angel eye kit" if you can't find it, do a world wide search. And remember that you need to have a ballast for this kit to work

I got my sportivo done with 20% tints and I have to say that they are dark enough for privacy and not much light getting through but they don't look too dark. I'm really happy with the 20% and they turned out great. I think Michelle(M_M) would agree with me on that =D

I have an antenna that I took off my sportivo when I got a stubby antenna. If you are in Sydney I'd be happy to sell to you at a very low cost lol

Thanks for your reply. Will be ordering these bulbs soon. And when i said dim lighting issues i didn't mean for the lights to dim, i meant as in if there will be dim spots that the led doesn't cover like other people had problems with

Ok planning on doing this. How many bulbs will I need to change for the sportivo's center console and will these work well without all the dim lighting issues?

Also driving down to the snow I got 450km using 40L so thats like an estimated 750ish km on a 60L tank freeway driving. But if you look through the forums there have been people who have done even better than that

Haha i loled when I read this cause my other half drives a 06 focus and my god all the problems she has had.

- Her bro reversed into a fence took 2 weeks to get the car back

- Battery died

- Turned out due to a dead alternator.

- Brakes worn out (pretty normal) but ford put them in badly and there was a knocking sound and they had to fix it under warranty

- Head lights blew

- exhaust needed to be fixed (not too sure what was wrong)

- and the hubcap fell off today and they are going to get new rims and tyres. About time to change them

Just waiting for that 60k failure of the leaky coolant
