Ok just filled up my sportivo 500.3Ks filled up 47.65L doing some maths that equates to 9.52 L/100k Is that bad? Am i driving wrongly? =S Sounds quite bad for a sportivo

A pod filter is not legal if its not enclosed or away from the engine or something like that. I'm not too sure how much power the CAI gives but I can say its not much. If there is any its a placebo effect haha

My friend just got her brakes changed and machined. Both front and back. Cost around $500 not from a dealer. so that $600 sounds quite decent for the service

I was very surprised at the colour cause at first I thought it was just silver. However I compared it to my sedan which is silver and this sportivo is like silver with a slight tinge of gold? if that makes sense. The colour code is 1c0. And yes I took that picture just after I drove the car home for the first time and washed it for the first time its had a wash in weeks. The previous owner didn't take the best care of it

you should measure fuel consumption as x L per 100kms, more reliable and the reading of the first half of the tank always goes down slower than the second half. :) I suppose thats a better way tho not too sure as how to measure how much fuel is used. Only way I can think of is fill up, run for 100ks then fill up again and look at the receipt

Just got my sportivo recentlly and installed a CAI. Before installing it I could get 300ish km out of half tank (didn't know how much a full tank was cause I put in the CAI). After putting the CAI in I can see that my fuel economy has dropped a bit and no where near the 300km per half tank. This is mainly cause I love hitting lift and hearing the induction noise lol therefore using more fuel

I think it would be a great idea. Speaking from experience searching for info about CAI's was a very long process of sifting through lots of pages of random comments. The pinned topics were helpful but again, lots of pages of information to go through

Hey everyone, The names Aaron and I'm in Sydney. Been reading these forums for a while now since I bought a new 05 sportivo a few weeks back and thought I should start getting involved. I'm 22 and i'm loving my new car. For those of you who read the corolla forums, my cousin had posted pics of my car just after we had fit a trd cai for it. Ok since i'm asian the sterotype is that we all drive camrys and corollas and yeah well this is true in my family lol. We own a 04 prefacelift zze122 sedan and a 06 facelift zze122 hatch. So whenever I tell people I got a Toyota corolla sportivo they always reply "Another Corolla???". Then I have to explain that its a *sportivo* haha Mods so far: *TRD CAI * -Foglight *Stubby antenna Mods that I want to do in the not to distant future: *Lower it (probably king lows) *some form of exhaust *front strut *put back on my foglight (sigh) So hope to see you guys around the forums
