      pics are up :)

  2. sorry but the "TRD" look of that car makes me want to stab my eyes out.. even thou its a TRD style kit... it just doesnt look like a trd for some reason?? perhaps im missing something.. seems like the bottom of the lip is missing something compared to the proper TRD kit... but each to their own anyway... the 2nd one looks OK... but still the black headlights dont do it for me.. as for the carbon look, maybe on a black aurion/camry.. but definately not that colour combo....
  3. hehe i thought that was you! i walked straight past you as you were either getting in or out of your car! :P have to give the car a clean before i take photos.. the guys sprayed all this glossy crap over the tires which has splattered onto the body :(
  4. anytime now anytime now pics by the weekend :) just waiting for the 3rd coat of paint to dry on my eyelids before i go wetsand/polish/wax them all up...
  5. check out volatile customs.. speak to rob and tell him dave sent you... he does supply n fitting for HID.. did all of mine..
  6. yeah sika flex would be an ideal solution if you 110% were sure they were going to stay on the headlight for good... as when i used sikaflex to stick the ducktail spoiler on, you have to lay down a layer of black "sikaflex primer" for the skiaflex to bite onto?
  7. oh daaammmmm andy! thats hot!! and nice work on the paint!!! looks a million bucks! now you need to get this out so i can take some photos!!!
  8. whats the new ride mate!? it had better be an aurion :P
  9. just a bit of a grave dig here, but has anyone with eyelids ever thought about heating them up slightly to make them fit the curve of the headlight a bit better? previously with a set of eyelids i had a while back i had problems with the end near the parkers lifting even with good double sided tape and pressure applied.. im thinking this time around to heat it up a bit with the heat gun and "mould" it to the shape of the light before painting and fitting... thoughts?

    Dre's Aurion

we are SO going for another photoshoot Andre... just lemme get my rims fitted and we'll head out the same night!! did you remove the eyelids?? cant tell from the photos...
  11. just to give you a heads up, i did have the same problem when i was rolling on the stock 16inch steel wheels... i posted about it a while back now, but basically it turned out my wheels were buckled... so toyota replaced them under warrenty... made it better but was only completely rid of the problem after going to different rims... so id be going back to your dealership and getting them to check the wheels out... and be prepared for a fight... toyota dont officially recognise this as a problem, i had to take my case onto the service manager and also the sales manager before anything happened..
  12. lee, that set up makes me all warm and fuzzy inside... :P
  13. Alright I need to see your car's boot Davo! Where and when do you Perth Aurion owners meet up? I was thinking of getting one next year! Cheers Davo aka DeafDave76 lol hey mate couple of us will probably be meeting in the next fortnight or something for a photoshoot.. if you like, pm me your mob number and i can keep you in the loop? heres a photo i took of my boot a while back thou... 14. ive acctually had to blank off parts of my velcro with electrical tape as it was pretty much impossible to move out of the way with all velcro contacting the matt... the sub box i have also wedges nicely under the frame in the boot so its very secure.
  15. ive got mine secured down with velcro in the boot... just need the "non furry" side of the velcro underneath the box, and it grips very well on the boot matt. amps are located under passenger and driver seats.. :)
  16. wait till you see it with the wheels i am putting on ;) nah their not genuine side skirts, toyota wanted some crazy price even at trade for original side skirts, so decided to go aftermarket... i was originally going to colour code the fogs, but changed my mind last min... too much white :P
  17. some pictures from tonight... detail is done for now.... ended up with 2 passes with M205 ultra finishing polish, 1 pass with auto glym super resin polish, and 2 coats of nxt 2.0... black parts of the bumpers cleaned and protected with meguiars ultimate protectant. will post more pics once i fit the next mod enjoy :) IMG_6548 by DavidChaiPhotography, on Flickr IMG_6549 by DavidChaiPhotography, on Flickr IMG_6543 by DavidChaiPhotography, on Flickr IMG_6527 by DavidChaiPhotography, on Flickr IMG_6524 by DavidChaiPhotography, on Flickr
  18. dosent adding a trd badge automatically increase HP? :P jk id say do whatever makes YOU feel good. after all it's YOUR car... its just like car waxes, what one person declares as the best shining wax, others may have a different opinion... good luck :)
  19. gearing up for a mini photoshoot. Any perthies around S-Perth area tonight feel free to drop on by..

  20. hey mate, i rec kon go the ducktail, it looks mint!! plus my front end will probably be a bit different to yours so our cars wont look identical :P went for 19's in the end.. will post pics of the kit tonight and with wheels later in the week :)
  21. yes but havent got them fitted yet. will fit them in next week or so
  22. just a bit of a sneak peak...will post better pics tomorrow once i finish detailing..
  23. for 200 you could easily buy a clay kit, good wax, and car wash... clay the car while you wash (you will sacrifice your clay bar to a one time use only, but if the car isnt too bad you can easily cut the bar up into thirds) and then apply wax after drying the car... it wouldnt take you much longer than a regular wash and wax...
  24. partly my car and partly the missus car... started a major detail for both our cars.. plans go a bit like this: hers: wash, clay, buff with m205, gold class plus, topped with layer of m26. mine: wash, buff with m205, autoglym super resin polish, nxt 2.0 (two layers) will post pics soon :)
  25. team white FTW! IMO the ducktail spoiler looks hot on the aurions.. sportivos and non sportivos...
