  1. Due to work commitments I will be unable to attend. I forgot my folks are going to Melbourne on the 12th for 10 days. I'll be working a fair bit unfortunately.
  2. Just noticed this thread. Cheers
  3. Why do you think I ignored Viking advice and dropped her to superlows???
  4. Don't bother going Toyota genuine. A set of King Lows will increase your handling, drop your car by about an inch and maintain most (if not all, I didn't notice the difference from going from Sportivo to Low springs) ride quality. If you want more of a drop you have to get the superlows which will give you 'lowered' looking heights with a massive drop in ride quality. If you have the Altise V6, I have a set of KYB shocks (f+r) and King Low springs (f+r) if you are interested.
  5. Probably any Toyota Parts Department open on a Saturday. Go to the Toyota website and look for the nearest dealer. The Gen5 coolant reservoir is bolted in with a single bolt.
  6. For reference, here's what the intake box looks like in the 36 series with the 1mz-fe. The vacuum sensor is located in the box as opposed to using a sensor/meter or canister (like the Gen4) There are heaps of stores in the US who will have it cheap, but eBay isn't a bad way to go.
  7. Finally... now you have some half-decent input Agreed, about time. If there were a like button, I would have totally pressed it.
  8. Amen to that! *high-five* Uhhh... hang on, that's not something we should be high five-ing about is it??? <_<
  9. Magic. Paint removing agents tend to be non-discriminatory when used to remove paint from a surface.
  10. ^ ooh Daryl that looks very undelicious. Michelin Pilot Sport III if they are cheap enough!
  11. From the pics you have provided, it appears that you will just need the CAI (SRI) kit. From the first pic, the one of the two plugs (not the airflow sensor one) is hooked up to two tubes which may very well be the vacuum lines. Worst case scenario is you lose a day getting the part you need from a wrecker/Toyota Genuine
  12. She's not your traditional bro Yeah... she's an untraditional bro. Get your cannon on.
  13. That seems a little high. Where are you gettin gyour prices from?

  15. Yeah, it's a few bolts. Nothing difficult BUT are you able to take a few shots (different angles) of the stock airbox? I know with mine, the vacuum check section is built into the airbox (the Aus Gen5's are wierd) and you will need another part if you go CAI.
  16. You won't get any gains in terms of power, but you might get a gain in fuel efficiency and a Shiite load of noise (assuming you get a pod filter). As Daryl said, the reusable filter will pay off the kit. In the event you can't find a kit for the 2az-fe, you can probably land one from the US or simply keep the airbox and throw in a panel filter. With regards to the RSB, in terms of handling getting a bigger RSB (I have the 20mm Whiteline, blade adjustable model) will give you the best value for money handling mod you can get. I highly recommend it. Modding the Gen5 is a little tricky given how few items are available for it.
  17. Brisbane TOCAU meets rock. None of this once in a blue moon Cafe Latte meets.
  18. Body Corporate issues are driving my nuts and not in a good way... >.
