  6. hey pplz, question for facelift owners- Those of you with CAI, did u have to modify ur intake to make it fit? or was it a simple plug and play- if so, wat brands and how did u do it (ie wat did u have to mod) i have heard from a few owners that have installed the Simota kit from Shift Performance that the foglight needed to be removed for the filter to fit or a modifcation to the end of the pipe.. wat exactly needed to be done? ..anyone with the TRD, AEM, Injen or other with any insights?? Hey Guys, Just an extension of DAZ's original question is there any significant differences in the different brands of CAI on the market? TRD, AEM, Injen, Simota I've notice some big price differences just wondering if it refects in performance

  8. Hi Guys, I was speaking to a guy at Carline mufflers and he suggested a 2" system from the Cat back installed for $250.00.That is excluding the muffler. Is that a reasonable price?
  9. Haven't lowered it yet the rims set me back a bit. I'm waiting to get my C-one front lip off ignition X to put the entire body kit on then I'll determine how low I want to go. Also still deciding on what to get Tein coil overs or just king spring low on standard shocks. The money's running low after the rims and kit.

  13. I called a YHI distributer and he gave me $495 just for the wheels no rubber, no lock nuts, no installation. Pretty pricy ay. Thats why I'm thinking is it worth it as the Speedy ones are going to cost me $1890 fully fitted, lock nuts etc. Do you know a cheaper place in Sydney? ← If it's true, then PLEASE! Let me know who you're dealing with. I'll pick those up without rubber right now! ← Sorry to get your hopes up guys $495 per wheel $495 X 4 The guys I called were http://www.5zigen.co.jp/oversea/index.html

Bigo Tyres down in Moorebank are pretty good, heaps better than the mob at Tempe Tyres I reccon. www.bigotyres.com.au. For a large range of wheels and tyres you can try Australia's best in Canterbury but they are expensive.
  18. There seems to be a little miscommunication from my earlier posting. What I am saying is if you have a modification like a body kit and you don't advise your insurer and you have an accident they have the right to refuse your claim not just on the body kit but the whole car. My mate has been with NRMA for over 10 years and he has warned me to tell the insurer which I plan on too. I'd be fine with an insurer not compensating me for modifcation I haven't told them about but I want my standard vehicle covered in an accident.
  19. Hi Guys, I have a mate that works for NRMA and he told me that if I wanted to get a body kit on my corolla I need to notify them. Also he told me that they are cracking down on people that have modified vehicles that have not advised them. Otherwords they have the right to refuse a claim on a vehicle that has a modification that they where not aware of before the accident. (And they are actioning this right more often) Has anyone had any experience of this? Or any comments
  20. Hi Guys, Thinking of picking up a set of these wheels. In silver for my siver 2005 corrolla Anyone know much about these besides knowing they cost a bucks
