  1. Haha cheers mate, just shattered i couldnt lower the front even more for that even more flushed look! Damn coilover -.-' Lookin forward to seein you at the next meet man. Should get all the white rides lined up for a shoot aswell haha
  2. Nicee, love white cars mate. Looked even better in person last sunday!
  3. Yeah thought that could be the problem, i was hoping it was something else with less work. Cheers for that anyway fellas. Ill get onto this whenever i have a free afternoon!
  4. Hey fellas, For some reason one of my coilovers arent budging when i try to adjust the height. I know how to adjust the height of my coilovers just incase your wondering, but this one coilover wont budge. When i loosen up the locking collars and try to spin the shock body the only thing that moves is the spring. I did the exact same method with the other coilovers on my car and had success. I thought it might be a tad rusty or something, but the coilover was adjusted about 2 weeks prior. So i thought id try some WD40 to loosen it up, previously i had 2 coilovers that wont budge but after applying WD40 to both of them, only one of them remains "stuck" Any advice on how to fix this problem?
  5. Dont worry unique, i feel your pain. I attempted this over summer and well, i ended up with the same finishing product as you. So i tried focusing on certain sections and eventually gave up. I rather pay someone to do this now properly so my ride is swirl/scratch free.
  6. Oh wait, just a few more. Sorry for any double posts, kinda lost track of what ive posted. Stupid photobucket -.-'

  8. The random black 2 door levin on the way back home?
  9. Tomorrow fellas!! So just to confirm, should i bring my e-tag yeah just incase?
  10. Just letting the westsiders know, ill be meeting you all at sunshine at the designated time! But excuse the height of my ride, front left coilover wont adjust for some strange reason so i only dropped the back to how i want it :(
  11. Yep get coilovers. Save more money. ..or you can buy my old kingsprings :)
  12. Not that i know of, no. Ive done it many times and i myself is a n0ob at all this car bizz but i removed my wheels many times and havnt noticed a change in anything. I just make sure to retighten up my bolts after 100kms or so after putting the wheels back on. I noticed that some of the nuts became a bit loose in that time despite me tightening (<== is that a word? ) them up
  13. Perfect DJ, accessed the coilover. But i didnt realise that the seatbelt component would prevent me putting in the damper key inside the coilover. How should i go about this? It seems its attached to the parcel shelf - would it be better if i removed it? Which brings me back to my original question, how do i go about removing the parcel shelf?
  14. Nuh i dont think they do mate, ill look into it however. Lookin forward to seeing your ride this weekend! should be a good run!
  15. haha cheers tash. The calipers were easy. Basically, if you got a jack and 2 stands it makes life so much easier. Well i took the wheels off, gave the calipers a very good clean so they look good as new. Masked everything up. Then sprayed it with engine enamel paint (it has a higher temp than break caliper paint). I used engine enamel paint because i couldnt find break caliper paint that was white. After that, the finish was a flat white, so i sprayed high temp engine enamel clear gloss over the top and bingo! Chucked the wheels back on, and i let it dry over night
  16. Yeah tash, its fairly easy. Get off the freeway at ballarat road. I assume you'll be coming from the airport/calder fwy direction. So when you get off turn right. then drive up and turn right again at station road and brimbank shopping centre should be on your left about a couple minutes up the road. or, get off at furlong road and turn right. then drive all the way up furlong road through the suburbs with round abouts and a 60km speed limit. Keep driving until you reach cairnlea drive. Turn right and keep driving. Brimbank should be on your right at the end of cairnlea drive. Second route is shorter, but a bit more confusing for someone who hasnt been in the area before. If you take the first option, no chance you can get lost
