  1. its hard to find trd stuff this days, trdsales is hopeless, you mind as well think they dont exist! i ordered a panel filter and sent them million messages three months ago and not one fu%king reply!
  2. or you buy a car bra and leave it on the car the whole time
  3. try berson, i got my rear sway bar there for 150, autobarn sells for 200!
  4. and as to why its called "lift", i think maybe the L in VVTLi means lift, the ones with VVTi mean Variable valve time intelligence, VVTLi mean Variable valve timing and lift. and because its a pain to say V.V.T.L.i all the time so most people call it lift
  5. vic blackburn road near doncaster bout 8pm, a silver facelift stivo lifting
  6. yeah, they look awsome, let us know after you test drive dude, thinking swap the stivo
  7. click they say it will do 0-100km just over 8sec? so its faster than stivo? and its only a 92kw 148nm 1.6 engine?!? its priced pretty well though $23990
  8. could it be that after this week the price will reach a new height?
  9. i saw an s2000 on carsales b4, done 72000km or sumthin, with RWC for 9000 bucks. he was selling so cheap cause his wife cheated on him in the car, i was gonna buy but missed out, it was sold :(
  10. the sportivo you can hear it even stock, my mum's mazda 323 dont have this noise when turn off, the vtir civic i use to have had a CAI but only little louder than the stivo, my mate's fto gr(no mivec) when stock there's no such noise, but he have a CAI now and this noise apears, maybe cars with performance vtec, lift, mivec and etc will have this noise when turn off even in stock form?? not sure though
  11. i hate them keep saying :ITS JUST A COROLLA and MY MUM HAVE ONE or GRANNY HAVE ONE! granny drives golfs too, so a gti golf is a grannies car? and i suppose the evos are pretty slow cause ITS ONLY A LANCER...
  12. but we are speaking about purchasing the car NEW, so that rules out all of the above mentioned cars, the comment i was trying to make was that for 28k brand new (alot of people wont buy 2nd hand cars.. comes down to personal choice) the car is more than worth it sorry dude i was referring to rolla boy's comment, i think the sportivo is well worth the money too, thats why i bought one
  13. 28k you can also get skyline, supra, mr2 and etc, but you cant compare like this, for example, the mrs when new they r like 40k plus now some sells for 23000 bucks(some stivo cost more than that) its the year of make, km, condition of the car, and how well the car keeps its value
  14. i think the placed the gearshifter like the civic, some mag says its a pretty good position, but dont know, the outside is soooo ugly, i 100% wont buy one
  15. my car is JUST out of warranty, (03 stivo) and i think i need the clutch adjustment done as well as sometimes when i hit lift i hear a rattle / vibration from the gear box area. Can ones normal mechanic do the job? (can they find out the info from Toyota?) - if your out of warranty, what would it cost to get the adjustment done? that noise will be your gear selectors :) clutch adjustment can b done at any mechanic.. but if u have warranty than do it at toyota (FREE) =) The cost without warranty im unsure... but i think its like $50-100 for them to inspect the problem. um...... I think it's more than that. last time they did it for me, they took a whole day and they mentioned about taking the whole console off to be able to get to the cable. I would say it's about 4~8 hours of work no its not true, its 60 bucks and it should only take about 1and half hour, i paid for mine so i know
  16. most of the mitsubishi's overlooked and underated, 3000gt, fto, marage coburg,
  17. yeah the thing i dont like bout the fto is the very very small windows, unless u have a sunroof, its like in a jail
  18. yeah, u cant compare jap to korean man, mazda 3, civic, corolla and etc would be fairer
  19. ok i will keep it going :) i had a civic coupe vtir b4, and i loved it, insurance is good(bit less than a stivo) and its only a 1.6, but its got one hell of an engine, 118kw(you can never get enough of the engine sound, specialy if you have a CAI), not much torque, but also its very light, and its very easy to make it look really good, mine had cf bonnet, lowered to its guts and a mugen lip, and it turns heads i tell ya. and the clio182 sport is good too as someone mentioned, gun of a car and insurance is good too. an mr-s if u want style, u can get one for 25k bucks, but i am not sure if insurance is a killer(worth checking out) finally a sportivo and celica, both have a gun NA engine 141kw, but gearbox is nothing special remember celica is 100kg lighter
