  9. may i ask what the car is going to do? street, drag, drift...? because i think if you do get 300-400kw it wont be very easy to live with, and very not streetable(cause of the power to weight thingy). anyway have you thought about a rotary motor? they are pretty small and powerful
  10. i actually like the 05 and 06 models better, this thing is soo yaris, and i wouldnt want to buy a rolla that looks like a lower grade car(yaris), and the rims is very 206 gti 180, but it looks better than the photos we had before :)
  11. so any of the 2zz boys have this muffler??
  12. thats alot for a small motor, and the gearbox..watch out for the gearbox..
  13. Might need to look back @ the history of the forum mate as i do believe Adrian wasnt exactly the only person who fought the fight with toyota representing this forum ..... although im not going to take anything away from him as he probably did everything he can .... as did i i.e. traveling OS, speaking to the engineering dept overseas, speaking to the guys who set the adr rules in the government .... being the 1st trail for the ecu recall and shift cables recall .... getting action for other member .... Back on topic ..... i'm really keen to see what toyota and honda have brewing as they are keeping very very quiet at the moment in the hot hatch scene and the japs arent the type that like to be beaten to the punch ..... honda has a hot hatch, the civic type r, its just not coming to oz...again...
  14. yep our gearbox is pretty tuff to get it into gears compare to some, i drove my mate's mazda 3 and its sooo oiled ang easy to shift, not just shifting, our clutch is harder to control too(i think), i found that on a hot day( say 28 degrees) and you leave the car in the sun for a while, its lot more easier to shift, do you guys find this is well????
  15. maybe the oil get hot and become boiling it needs more room, not sure though :)

  20. yeah 400 for clutch is not bad, its the intallation fee plus the clutch that scares me :)
  21. thx guys for the kind comments, the sunroof is good, its one of the best part of my car :),KaZe-StiVo yep mine only have the stock exhaust, you see i cant change too many parts cause i have a baby, if i dont have a baby and not worry bout paying defect fines, i would get it lowered to it's guts, exhaust done and etc, but hey thats life, at the end of the day i love my baby more than the car :)
  22. wow thanks steve for all that history, i never know there was an even older swift gti, and it sounds like a bomb
