  1. Spoke to Toyota dealership service dept: about this. He told me what they do is add a engine flushing liquid (can be bought from Autobarn or any of the similar outlets under IE Nulon and various other brands) into the oil to be drained, runs the engine for 10 minutes or so drains the oil and then refills with new oil as is usually done. Seems easy enough! This how Ive done it in the past. Nulon engine flush ftw.
  2. nice dude well done on the times. cant wait to own my own track ae92
  3. Yes I can see the white plastic tap. Looks like the splash guard will need come off to access it. Is this a security feature or did they make access simpler in later models? Its really quite simple mate, just take off the splach guard, or even just a few screws to be able to bend the front down, and turn on the tap. Im guessing its behind the guard for protection against an outside forces/objects accidently coming in contact with and switching on your tap draining your coolant..
  4. got my strut woo! and for moaar giggles Still waiting on the Tein springs. Anyone ever have problems fitting this strut? seems just a fraction short over the struts... too hard to judge untill i install it though. Positive its the right model.

  14. Great write up mate well done. though cant see how this would be necessary for a car less than 5 or 7 years old... Unless heavy amount of ks and huge driveing. Maybe on 12 - 15 + years, common task on the 4age 20valves.
  15. sounds too cheap, these look different to my Tein S-Tech springs.I bought mine from a Fulcrum approved dealer. Yea thats without import costs / delivery ends up being $400 odd all up. The picture I dont think is an exact representation of the parts. But the model number is correct so I guess thats all ok then?
  16. Second quote for the springs i want .. Tein S-Tech (2zz): SKL56-S1B00 (F-50mm & 3.9kg/mm, R-45mm & 4.2kg/mm) None in the country, Japan order $575 after import / shipping costs, just for the springs Another 500 get me close to coilovers :( hmm just found them selling on Nengun.com for $245 AU .. Anyone here know cheapest way to get them here or where to buy them from?
  17. Very impressed with the first bunch of Aurion photos up the top. Really awesome stuff good work guys!
  18. The Toyota Long Life red coolant will work perfectly. I ran it in my 20valve setup in an ae92, running FE radiator setup. Pricey though I think close to $40.. Can buy it from and Toyota Spare Parts center or dealership.
