  1. mechanical side, im not worried bout, engine mounts will be all custom,ill be using 4 mounting point not the usual 3, if i use the stock mounting point then the engine sump sits too low the gound, so ill be raising the engine, cv's will be using the corolla sportivo ones,will be mixing and matching with the starlet and mr2, brake master cyclinder has to be shortened as the head hits it, so the solution is, using the mr2 spyder one as its short by about 1", exhaust will be custom as for wiring i dont wanna use the starlet cluster, so its either corolla or celica, im leaning towards the celica cluster, but as the ecu is in the engine bay, cant i just use the celica dash harness and corolla engine harness from what i understand the corolla has abs, and the celica doesnt have it in there base model sx, but does in the zr. its easier to get the sportivo harness than getting a zr harness. cheers
  2. well for the past year or two, been thinking and researching to put are 2zz in a starlet, well i ve made the decision to go ahead and do it ill be doing all the work , along with my bro, fitting the engine is going to be tight but it fits according to our measurements now his the question 1. sould i use the complete corolla harness along with the dash cluster 2. or use the celica harness with the dash cluster 3. or wire it in by a pro i will be running power fc, along with abs and power options so basically looking opinions and options cheers

  4. i believe that is an 05 celica, which has drive by wire tb, they kept the standand ecu and adapted the power fc, boosted 2.0 from newcelica forum is the one doing it, hope this helps cheers

  6. 6 speed box fits with no problems,it will also make u car bit fast than the 5 speed, if u want i can do this conversion, pm me for more details cheers

  8. its a 2zz, wats the engine got to do with cvs?? your better of sticking to rhe corolla ones, there thicker than the mr2 and the celica
  9. celicas will fit, part no are different, so are mr2's, im current runing sportivo cvs in my mr2, they fit great cheers
  10. new celica, mr2,s will fit, normal corolla wont work, the angle will be wrong,and will break it, if u want sportivo cv pm me i can hook up cheers
  11. if it leaks between the engine and box then its the rear main seal, if it leaks around the main pulley then its the sump, the sump has no gasket, its just a sealent cheers
  12. when buying things from overseas, always ask them to put i down as a gift, ask them not to put the value down on the documents cheers
  13. celica's hub will fit, you just need the centre bit and new bearing cheers

  18. mate dont bother, the 2zz block has alot of differences, the 1zz is missing to many things in order to convert to vvtli,e.g lining up the head is one, and also missing a few holes, so drilling is required cheers

  22. u broke the dip stick. yeah gl putting it on ,its a pain in the *****, better off just going to a different toyota cause 6 weeks is redicelous(spelling)
  23. getting the little grey part is are pain in the butt, as soon it comes out they tend to brake the clips,so if you wanna get it off, u gotta level it out with a screw driver(dont scratch the paint) why do wont to get it off for?
