hopefully they dont stuff ya around and say something like "under normal driving conditions its fine so we cant do anything" but yeah theres definately something wrong after 2 - 4 kms of driving at low revs sees the temp gauge go up. and rev limiter goes up to 8,200 (or whatever it is)

did that car have euro plates? cause gf said she saw one at the same place today around 5:15.

yeah just checked mine and its not there. probably wouldnt have known that it was missing had i not read this section lol that seems a bit weird that toyota made a spot for the filter but didnt make an actual filter for it?

hmmmm thats pretty sucky that so many came without that filter. i wonder if i have it... <_< anyone know off hand how much they cost?

NSW - Wollongong spotted 2 sweet looking corollas last friday 7th april. ( though it was only a passing glance cause i was late for work) one was blue and one was silver, both with hoods open.

if ya stuff around with them heaps and get no where talk to the "customer service relations manager" and make a scene with them. to be honest most of the service ppl are the type that say "what problem? its all in your head!!!" (nb. this might not be the scenario with other dealerships)

dont think albion park is any better after a few weeks of having my sportivo, i found it had a leak in the A pilar caused by a spot weld that had gone through and made a hole. took them 2 weeks to start work on it cause they had to take pictures and send them to toyota , ( mind you i couldnt park the car outside if it looked like it was going to rain), they took the roof lining apart and apparently fixed it!! ( they replaced the hoodlining and a few other things) then a week later at car lovers i was greeted by water, and this time they fixed it with some sort of sealer. im gonna take it to a body shop and get it check out. the last thing i want is for it to leak when its out of waranty. but yeah they had the car for 3 whole days and they didnt do squat. end rant. my 2c fingers crossed you can find the problem and fix it before it gets worse.

hope ya figure it out. ps. had the same problem with the dealerships, called the wollongong dealership for the 1k service and when i get there on that day, they tell me im supposed to be in albion park, wasnt a happy camper.

you'd love wollongong then hehe the first time i walked in, they said i could have the one there for $34500 drive away

oh man, when'd you order that and how much did you pay? about a week ago from ryde toyota, and got it for $28500 (plus $500 transport costs) sent up from melbourne. only one black was left in nsw that they new of and it was right infront of me in the wollongong toyota. only prob was they wanted a rediculous price for it so i went interstate and still saved $2500

hey all, i too have joined the rush and will be picking up a 05 black corolla sportivo from sydney later today and cant wait!! had a few issues getting it, but thats all behind me and now i just want to drive it. :D
