yea i always thought there was a difference in volume when it comes to comparing radio with cds.. the way i always thought bout it is comparing talking to someone on the fone long distance compared to hearing someone face to face. cant really ever expect radio to be the same quality as a cd.. unless you got digital radio like they got in the US (i guess).. my cousin always going on about how great her XM is when shes in the middle of the grand canyon in her H2...

has this information been written up and pinnwed on the forums already? ill definately remember that next time i have to do something like this... would have been useful cos i watched the eldectrician do exactly what you said! i dont have a tester on me and im not bothered to buy 1 up here... we couldnt find a wiring harness this morning.. (not suprising in this part of the world... they sell soldering irons, but no soldering wire!? they sell the audio cables, but no wire cutters?!? ham, no burger?) so yea my father inlaw had a mate that owns an electronics store and although they dont sell car audio stuff, he knew what he was doing. they dont sell harnesses up here. theyd rather do things the hard way IE - cut the wires, test em, then a lot of wire twisting, minus the soldering. anyhoo.. cost bout 350 pesos for installation which equates to less than $10 bucks.

i dont have the time or patience to be soldering and cutting wires that im not even sure what is what. even with diagrams of the original wires.. im not even sure that they are accurate? its a 1989 delica... id idnt see any diagrams for anything before 200* or 1998 or something... if i find the wiring harness then ill solder that together. if not then im gonnna have to pay 4 installation

gday, supposedly, wiring harnesses are meant 2 make life easier 4 us when we install aftermarket stereos.. so.. in that case, logically, all aftermarket HUs use the same colours on their wires right? my question is - are all aftermarket stereos using the same colour wires? ie: would a yellow wire on a sony HU have the same function of a yellow wire coming out of a pioneer HU? just in case you were wondering.. im installing my father in laws aftermarket HU into his 1989 mitsubishi delica.. 4wd van. when he bought it, the HU was a cassette radio that only allowed us to listen to 1 fm station and that got old real quick. turns out that this HU actually came out of a subaru?! so i guess i gotta find a wiring harness for a subaru instead of a mitsubishi....

the hitting looks excessive.. since hes on the floor covering his head.. but by that same token, he came in the shop acting in an agressive manner, therefore it seemed reasonable to make sure the guy was kept under control b4 the police arrived

i read the manual for my kicker and it provided me with a minimum and maximum size for the sealed box. i simply shot for the middle of the 2 sizes in order for me to still fully take advantage of the recliner in the rear seats, as well as enough room for shopping and the babys stroller. all id have to do is pull out the sub to take out anything underneith the floor.

depends what stage of your life you are at... i mean i feel i kinda grew outta south park after bout 2000/2001 or whenever the movie came out... beavus n butthead were an absolute classic.. simpsons are always great too but i cant get back into b+b and the simpsons like i used to... their time has passed! gday, im back in philippinez on family business... wasnt exactly planned by me so i know im gonna have overdue billz up the anu5 ive gone and gotten sunburnt.. argh.. dont you hate that? i miss waking up with frost on my lawn and the 12 degree mornings... hmmm.. but yea its practically impossible to find corolla parts up here that would fit our rollaz... so ive figured i might as well get some universal parts that would suit the rolla. ive seen all different sizes and types of headlight bulbs.. what size suits the prefacelift rolla? im not after HID kits or whatever.. just a straight replacement for the originals that would give off whiter light than the OEMz. im also after the proper size of the lug nuts for our tyres? if you know what im talking, or if you can think of any other cheap universal car parts that would suit our rollaz then please let me know asap. jase

ok as far as the rear skirt, it should fit but you might need to cut around the muffler... i think it depends on which rear skirt? not sure.. but people have discussed this before and i remember cutting was involved. the new corolla rims wont fit. thats because the new corolla rims use 5 lug nuts. the corollas from previous models used 4. i wanted the new corolla rims as well but saw that they just wont fit :/ but yea search round the corolla thread.. people have discussed this stuff about the rear skirt before jase

btw i did search n couldnt see a thread that dealt with my issue. if i missed it - sorry. gday gday, my 03 conquest's tyres look like theyve just about had it. my spare tyre has replaced a flat tyre i experienced during the big wet weekend that the pashabulker crashed into the beach... and the tyres im using now are (im guessing) all at 45-50% or less tread... by lesss.. i mean almost bald. not safe... so yea just curious what brands you guys recommend for corollas still riding on stock alloyz? my tyres are dunlopz... not sure if they came stock with everyone elses corolla but yea. should i stick with them or is there a better brand/model of tyre i should be looking for? another thing, which in your opinion of the tyre places provides best price/service? if you can recommend a specific tyre place in western syd that would be helpful but yea.. otherwise, if youd choose bobjane over beaurepairs or something please tell me why? thankz in advance.. jase

if you get jack blacks humor then youll enjoy this movie. the first 5-10 minutes is all music.. HEAPS FUNNY... made me wanna enjoy the rest of the film. then the first song kyle and jack do together sofa KING rocks! 2b honest i wasnt sure how 2 take the kantong ad... i mean, its not at all humerous or entertaining like the previous kantong ads where they ripped off the iron chef or the japanese looking commercial they did a few years back. come to tthink of it, i enjoyed every other kantong commercial theyve made up until this new one?! the communist theme killed it.. not in a good way. boo kantong!

im kinda seeing a trend in these patakz/kantong commercials... the new kantong commercials try to put over the fact its chinese by putting in a lot of images that remind me of communist china (chinese people "marching")... but they add in an element thats very very australian... good in some wayz, but bad in that it can be taken the wrong way somehow...

ive been looking 4 it online but cant find it as yet... ive seen it on channel 9 and 7.. in case you dont know what im talking about- the commercial features a very indian cook whos demonstrating how to cook chicken with pataks... thing is, his indian dialogue is being dubbed over in a very aussie voice... i was on the floor the first time i saw it! if you can find it anywhere online, you gotta post it up in here!! thankz jase
