  1. sory my japanese broken english isnt working today.. so basically its saying "dont depend on this under panel to protect your engine from rockz?
  2. na its not 2 late! good on ya se7en! i expected to get mine over a month ago but my cooling panel was one of 3 that went missing through aussie post... still waiting for aussie post to reimburse SB for the lost merchandise. meanwhile if we got enough people to make at least 5 orderz, then we can get another batch of these things made.. and i can finally get one too! just gotta wait til silvabullit can organise it 4 us :) jase
  3. UPDATE! Went to penrith Toyota Parts to ask about the stuff they got on their website.. (ie. booster bodykits, front end from HK (i think tayles' frontend?) and the sedan tail lights.) the guy shook his head n said "weve been trying to take that website offline because its ANCIENT... outdated" recommended i go to castle hill toyota for aftermarket stuff! how crap iz that!?! can anyone confirm whether or not Castle Hill has this stuff? i seriously doubt they even know bout the booster kit... sorry guyz! so yea... DONT GO TO THE PENRITH TOYOTA WEBSITE.
  4. Good site mate, brings back memories when I went to the Philipines. im heading back there next month! woohoo! seriously want 2 bring back a "pedalcab"... or at least get detailed picz of em so i can pimp my old bmx :P hahahaha yea... they dont normally use seatbeltz up there which is pretty freaky.. but then again if traffic is only going 40km/h and youre one of 8 adults and 3 kids in the car its not likely youll be tossed around in an accident :P
  5. yea found the toyota TAMARAW on this site here : http://www.donmacadam.com/vehicles.htm apparently tamaraw means buffalo!? after googling the word tamaraw all that came up in the image search was buffalo also featurez most of the vehiclez youd expect to see all over philippinez...
  6. naaaa it doesnt work that way mish! geezzzz youre not supposed to plan to get spotted?!!?! hahaha my car looks too stock anywayz atm... no1s gonna notice unless i got low or scored some rimz.. btw. im at uni tomorrow.. not working friday! sorry
  7. Is this what all the fuss is about? http://cgi.ebay.com.au/PAC-iPAC-OEM-IPOD2C...1QQcmdZViewItem since no1 has replied to my first message i gotta look elsewhere
  8. there are some models in philippines that arent mentioned in that website.. such as toyota tamaraw... gotta look that up when i got an extra minute 2 do so...
  9. nice one! yea sometimes all thats needed is a bit of self maintinance... never know you can fix the problem yourself! i alwayz do that.. b4 i even consider getting something fixed or replaced you gotta check if you can fix it yourself! saves heaps in the long run
  10. looks like a corolla altis bum tail lights on that caldina :)
  11. its like seeing pictures of family you havent met, but still look heapz familiar!?! wierd analogy but i grew up in a family thats always drive toyota...
  12. as i said in first post - its for the radiator.... nothing to do with the intake!
  13. yea same goez 4 me i dun get spotted neither!
  14. i thought the underneith panel was to stop things from hitting the engine underneith the car? guess thats just 4wds ay?
  15. yep A/C does change things slightly when i drive... i was thinking it had something to do with the electricz.. could it be something to do wiht the battery maybe? like its time to recharge/get a new one? coz my family has an old hiace... (work van) when the battery waz low, we gotta make sure the interior lights, the headlights, aircon and radio are all OFF to make sure the thing can crank when we turn the key!?! also... was thinking bout when my sub is on and the stereo is up at night.... the headlights dim slightly when the bass hits.. apparently that could be fixed by installing a capacitor? are these sorts of issues somehow linked to the batteriez charge? or is the A/C issue more of an engine thing? just speculating atm... unless a more educated forum member can explain this A/C phenomenon
  16. wow what does that WARN percentage mean? i cant see it on my computer?! is that for mods only? do i have a warning percentage?
  17. ive got a conquest too.. according to the corolla owners manual which i have in my lap at the moment, it doesnt give any caution or warning about losing any "code". it just provides instructions on how to replace the battery! my mums landcruiser keyless entry button stopped working even after changing the battery, and then she brought it to toyota. dont remember the reason for it not working, but they ended up replacing the whole locking thing inside the car and gave my mum a different shape button on her keyring.(the central locking button is separate to the ignition keys, not like our corolla keyz) so obviously it was something more than just the battery if its still not working. that kinda sucked coz the original central locking button could unlock the car from REALLY far away, as long as it was in your line of sight. now you gotta be within a few meters of the car to get the thing to work. i guess the logic behind that kinda change is security.. but now my corolla can be unlocked from a further distance than my mums landcruiser just change the battery! replacing the whole unit would only be an option if you dropped the keys in the toilet or something. did you fix it already?
  18. me too they look sick, but they are also easy to make lol its a peice of flat metal (I think this calls for a DIY job lol) yes the DIY is flat metal... and thats how i was going to do it if it was DIY... BUT... if you people only check the PICS in the GROUP BUY thread, you will see that the cooling panel has been bent into shape! lookz better than a flat piece of home made tin that we could knock up!
  19. just like i said - heapz of JDM toyotas, most that would probebly never be imported to our shores. in many cases id say thats a good thing, but at the same time would be incredibly cool to see some of those trucks driving round here hehehe! http://finnesey.org/cars/japan/page2-toyota.html just happened to come across this site during my yahoo searches. my guess is the guy who created this site is american.... if you are not easily offended by the occasional F word, then check it out!
  20. dont think this place was mentioned earlier, maybe its one of the places jase (eggbert) was mentioning b4... but penrith toyota are apparently selling "all red" sedan tail lights "New products: for the current model sedan we will be getting in some different tail lamps, they are all red. Will have pics soon." i may be going down there this week to enquire about some other parts. (depends when i finish my assignments for uni - GO UWS! GO!) ill ask bout the sedan tail lights as well if anyone would like to know. jase
  21. its not big deal if you want to use a stock HU. all youll need an amp/s for the subs.. and ull need to solder an RCA adaptor to connect the subs to the HU. RCA adaptor is 14.95 from autobarn. just solder it to the front left & right +/- wires located behind the HU. ive done this already with my corolla even if you dont have subs to put in the boxes, get em anyway! id totally jump on this if i owned a sedan
  22. ive only got a conquest... but it wouldnt matter if its sportivo or not. i got manual trans but the transmission wouldnt matter anyway?! as long as your rolla isnt the current facelift corolla,it will fit! if you want 2 see what it looks like installed... CHECK THE THREAD IN THE GROUP BUY SECTION
  23. well c-one only made a prefacelift cooling panel which was used as the template for the cooling panelz we are now ordering. the only other option is to make one DIY :P ive seen it done... on howtochannel on foxtel hahaha! if i didnt already chip in for this group buy then i would have done that.
