hi all!!! just looked at the calender, we are leaving to melbourne in about 7 and a bit weeks . yay!! to the queenslanders : did u want me to book u guys a room at the f1 here in sydney at wentworthville again for the night u guys will be here? or are u gonna crash at big pete's house which is 5 mins from there? seeing as you'll all be driving down to melbourne from here together. are u driving to sydney on the thursday? what approximate time will u guys be here?? seeing as there is no hooters in melbourne how about a dinner get together thursday night at hooters??? sound good??? i know u big boys will be starving by the time u arrive here :D but really its an excuse i give to order a fat juicy steak!!! yummo!! also to whom ever brings me a giant bucket of hot and spicy kfc from qld......drinks will be on me for dinner that night at hooters!!! :D yum yum yum!!! to the sydneysiders: a good meeting point for the drive down the hume would be the villawood bunnings (where our monthly meets are)....easy access from there to get to the hume hwy. would highly recommend leaving before the sun come up though.....can someone who is driving down please post time of departure from sydney

yeah i was just thinking the same thing, i will have my kids with me as my 3 boys really wanted to see it and the last thing i would want would be a riot or a bunch of hoons trying to show what they got. if the hoons will be there the 18th then maybe we should go the friday? i know a majority of ppl in tocau and ur all harmless, but i'm not sure about the other clubs. it's up to all of you!! if i don't come, its because of my kids safety, the discount will still apply....please let me know those who are down for the saturday i will ring up and confirm our attendance......have fun on the night takes heaps of pics for me. sorry i wont be there in my beast!! hope you all understand.

as mentioned above looking to do a beach cruise on the 7 mile beach at stockton on the sand dunes......date yet to be announced ( pretty much when ever people are free - i know april is a busy month so around may-ish sometime??? before the annual meet in june would be tops ) please raise your hands if you would be interested. all toyota owners are welcome but all non 4x4's wont be allowed access onto the sand dunes. bring the wife and kids we'll make a day of it to get to know some new faces :D PM me (mish) if you have any questions or concerns :D will add footage of the beach soon. wclBeachDriving.pdf

hi all!!! i finally contacted the manager about the outing. adults are normally $15 each but if each car mentions that they are with the toyota owners club australia on the night when paying at the booth all tickets will be $10. The movie will start 8:30 pm but gates will open at 730pm. :D i booked in both dates and will confirm with them a few days prior.....whats a better day for y'all either the friday or the saturday?? please put your date of preference next to your name on the list. thanks!!

should be announced after the meet, we'll do a vote while we there i guess that's the best way.....personally i think WA would be the best place to have it :D but theres been an interest in adelaide too so who knows......my kids wanna see uluru but i don't think you guys would drive your hot car's through the red desert......hehehe

they should take the annual fee off most plates but even if they did their prices are still crazy and we pay more here in sydneyt hen other other state. we bought a new car ( it's a secret btw :D hehe) pick it up tomorrow.......rta charging me $50 to place them on hold (which is the one year storage fee) + i have to pay an additional annual fee of $93 on top of the freaking $50 just for them to hold them for 1 day!!!! mind you i already paid for this years annual fee in advance on rego - august last year !!! sorry had to vent....it's crazy 1 day and none of the one year i will pay in advance i will get back they keep it all even once it's on the new car.......then i still have to pay $18 for them to reprint the damn sticker with the new plate number on it!!! geeze!! money money money thats all they want......and they say on their website all revenue from plates goes back into our roads ...........then why do we have the worse roads in sydney compared to all the other states!!!! oh and did i mention the transfer cost to get the new car into our name is $1239 ouch!!!! end vent.

you guys r so funny for the last 2 months i have been asking where do u all wanna go for a day meet......and got no reply.....how slack!!! so i gave up anyways if its gonna be a day cruise shouldn't it replace the normal monthly and be on the last sunday of the month.....march 29????? bill april 5 isn't that a long weekend (easter) i think double demerits is not good for the many p platers we have. well when ever......it's all good....hopefully the hilux is up and running by then.... where we go i don't care as long as everyone comes :D

as mentioned on post number one of this thread page 1 there are 3 options for accommodation. the f1 fawkner would be the best bet cause it sleeps 3 per room so is about$30 per person per night if you guys share rooms.clicky us sydneysiders will be in brighton beach rydges hotel. it would be awesome if you guys stay near us so we can have a few drinks together without worrying about driving back to the hotel. :D that is if you wanted to stay in brighton too

rydges have an awesome deal this week only that $95 per room per night...........if not theres a few f1's around melb......keeping it at a budget gives us more money to spend on fuel for cruising and eating out hehehehe

yep we def. in!!! we cheating though........flights leave sydney friday 5th june 7am, we fly home tuesday arvo june 9. staying at the rydges @ brighton beach gonna make an official thread this week with the dates and a rough draft of what events will be held and when and where....... but the dates are definate.........officially will start saturday june 6 and sunday june 7 as most ppl will need to get home by the monday. come on everyone wheres the spirit!!!
