im running 245 on the 10" rear . slight slight stretch not extreme enough for it to be a daily.
also depends how low you go as well . are you planning on going lower than the springs you've got at the moment ?
I'll be on coilovers but I think I will stay the same height, currently 20x8.5 et +38mm 245/30 tyres all around and havent had any problems
Its like 110mm between ground and lowest point of the car at the front and 130mm at the back
pretty much the aim is to fit the wheels
without getting pulled over and defected by tucking them in with some camber and
a good setup so it can be driven daily no dramas ie too much scrubbing
thx for the insights :)

-
dam the rear tyres are abit high go 245 width as well
hi
thx for the input :)
I was thinking that too cos 245mm = 9.645 inches, close enough to 10" if you round off haha
as mentioned it will be a daily till i can find another car for work
I don't want to be scrubbing or at least keep it as little as possible
-
okay after finding a very informative thread on another Toyota site
I have decided
Fronts 20x8.5 et +38mm w/ 245/30 tyres
Rears 20x10 et +25mm w/ 255/30 tyres
(ET +25mm for room to camber so wheels don't hit struts,
255/30 tyres as it will be a daily drive until I find another daily drive vehicle for work)
with the rears I will need to
1. roll the guards,
2. -ve camber so the wheels fit into the guards,
3. coil-overs to stiffen up the ride and provide more room than spring/shocks
only 1 more month to go :)
thanks for viewing
EDIT
Playing it safe so to get wider wheels at the back will be moving down to 19", same wheels
FRONTS 19x8.5 +35mm 245/35
REARS 19x9.5 +40mm 245/35
Roll Rear Guards
Small amount of Camber
Coil overs later

Nice rims :D
Is it the hell flush look? will look good with more drop and camber. Deff's keep the dish on the rear.
Thanks, Yep :)
I'll try fit them under the guards, will do a test fitment when I save a little more

FRONTS 20x8.5 offset +38mm w/ 245/30/20 tyres, pretty much the same as current front wheels
here is the dilemma
REARS
20x10 offset +25 or +38 w/ 255/30/20 tyres
I am currently on pedders springs, stock shocks
now to make these fit with either offsets I would have to change suspension, im thinking of coilovers, get my rear guards rolled and some -ve camber
yay or nay?
also which offset would be best?
I could go 20x8.5 rears too but i would like somewhat more of a concave appearance at the rear
any advise appreciated

cheers guys .
they are bbs lm , 18 x9 and 18x10
Looks awesome!!!!
Thats how you do it...
What offset did you get for the rears?
-
just a little update
after hearing the amount of scrubbing i got on hard bumps...................
earlier today i went to pedders suspension (in joondalup) to get a wheel alignment and lift rear end up due to scrapping
Outcome: the awesome technicians actually got my rear wheels to fit (removal of spacers) within the guards and just mm's from coilovers......................plus managed to drop the front end more
NO MORE SCRUBBING + NO FENDER WORK + DEEP CONCAVE 10" REARS =
remember 20" x 10" with 40+ offest ..... "thankyou alonso"
Thank you Alonso :)

Welcome :)
Any mods planned?
Did not like certain aspects of the look of the new sportivo's but its grown on me :)
It looks good on your dp
But the Aurions are a good car

Oh yes I almost forgot....I often see a black aurion ZR6 in QV1 car park and my work mate mistook that car for mine when I parked my car next to it. He said the shape of my car and the ZR6 were so similar but only I have cloth seats while ZR6 is leather plus I have 17" alloy rims while ZR6 is 18" aftermarket rims.
My question is does ZR6 logo comes in different colours? That's what got my attention. On that car it has Silver Z, Blue R and Red 6 or Blue Z Silver R but still red 6. I will have another close look on monday.
Debadged mine completely, lucky I kept the badges and found them :) the ZR6 for the 2008 sportivo is silver 'Z' & 'R' and Red '6', totally different from the new ones lol or are they? not sure...
The silver aurion you guys spotted is my friend.
Should we get a TOCAUWA meet going?
Seems like alot of you are from curtin uni as well.
:)
His car has given me inspiration to get black rims now haha getting them changed over in July when more $$$ available
I like the coilies, and it sits nicely too
I went to murdoch uni, gf goes curtin but im pretty much there when she is lol
-
spotted another aurion near curtin again lol near the big round about on kent st just before curtin, silver one again, lowered, 5 spoke silver/chrome wheels with dish, lexus style grill and MARs performance CCFL DRL headlights, seeing alot of modded aurions now near curtin area lol, everytime I see a black facelift aurion like yours I wonder if it is you dave :)
-
spotted just now! :) silver aurion, curtin university carpark, black 19x9 6 spoke rims, thai style sports grill, eyelids, black rear toyota badge, L-shape DRL's lower grill and coil-overs with white springs (anyone know what brand these could be? just curious)

I was looking at the lights on ebay
I was wondering are the turn signals the same as original headlights or do the led strip bit change to orange when you signal?
Thanks Mr Lee

-juan
