  1. Two more sleeps ! My car will also be benefiting from a nice long drive to Rosebud and back :D Blow out those nasty city driving cobwebs before the Dyno !
  2. Correct. You'd have to be unlucky to be pulled up because your tail lights aren't adr compliant, but at the same time, do you want to spend $300 for a set and take the risk ?
  3. Honours ! :D, Mars bars maybe if your lucky. I think N1 are providing one prize for the highest output on the day, is that correct Lucio ? But the categories are not there for awards or prizes, the day's about a bit of fun afterall. The categories are there so we can compare oranges with oranges.
  4. Can Members please have the ability to remove their own photo's from their gallary? As some people update their cars, they'd like to replace old pictures with new pictures instead of adding new pictures to the old pictures and ending up with alot of photo's. Thankyou :)
  5. It looks horn. UK CAR magazine has written rave reviews about it.
  6. If the rear of the car has no reflectors it's Illegal. Need to insure that if you're changing tail lights and your existing ones have reflectors incorporated into them, the new ones need reflectors as well.

    OMG

How's that XR6T going? Fitted the APS Stage II kit yet ?
  8. Bling Bling Bling :D Umm have you considered removing the door trims for that nice smooth look that kcorro has done to his sedan.
  9. Never heard of Summit. If want something good at a reasonable price, whiteline is the way to go - available from any Autobarn. Not the most rigid but good for what you pay ( It's almost half the price of the TRD ) and alot of members are using them.
  10. I reckon a replacement panel filter = not stock any more. Stock should mean no changes to engine whatsoever. Does that mean that a panel filter from Toyota Service and a panel filter from autobarn or supercheap auto as a replacement is a modification? A better definition is required, replacement of a "filter" to another "filter" is not deamed a modification by insurance companies, while extra tubing and CAI is. I would suggest that a normal-sized direct replacement panel filter, no matter the brand is a non-modifications. Obviously the insurance companies assume the same. ← Well, if you send it back to Toyota and get an OEM panel filter then of course its still considered stock. If something goes wrong with your engine, it will be covered under warranty. But if you get a K&N panel filter (or any other for that matter), then that has a possibility to void your warranty. K&N also advertises that their panel filters improve your car's performance. Anyway, I'm sure Lucio (or whoever is organising the prizes) will clear this up. ← Say What? A Direct Panel replacement filter such as a K&N voids warranty, what load a crock, not true as its fits inside the current housing, therefore it DOES NOT VOID WARRANTY and is classified as a consumable via Toyota. Been confirmed by a couple of service dealers that I rang today, also by insurance companies. If you replace the housing, such as the plastic bin that holds the stock size of the panel filter to something different structurally, it may void warranty. Therefore panel filters no matter make or model is NOT classified as a modification. ← Relax man, your car is stock as a rock. ← I agree, I really wouldn't consider a replacement filter alone a modification and in terms of increased performance we're probably talking a difference of 1kw. So Omn1potent goes into the stock box :D Also it's good that there's is a seperate category for 1zz's and 2zz's as we already which is the more powerful and we really want to be comparing apples with apples. Hope you can make it Danz, your's is the benchmark 1zz in VIC and I really want to compare mine to yours.
  11. I recommend 40psi however if you feel the ride is too harsh for you, step down to 38psi.
  12. Why are you looking at these if you're selling ?
  13. Yeah what I mean is don't put so much on that it drips into your tread (like I usually do :D Hey they just have to look black!
  14. Glad you're happy with them. Next... Wheels ! :D
  15. Still one of the best ones I've seen though, I'd like to see a front on shot and rear shot, because what makes a Ferrari unmistakable is the W I D E look they have. I don't think the MR2 shell would have the width to really pull it off. But all the same looks cool! :)
  16. Yeah me too usually put it on by the bucket :D Just bring it along and apply after your run so you can look all shiny for the photos :P

    Wheel Nuts

:D True, but I'd be up sh!t creek with no paddle if I get a flat before I get them loosened
  18. May affect your acceleration on the road but I don't think it actually affects your power output on a dyno, but someone correct me if I'm wrong.
  19. There is, price would be the same, around $850.00, but for the 2zz-ge you can choose two different styles, the twin tip like mine or the single oval uplifted dtm style. It's the same one as that for the European E12 T-Sport 1.8vvtli You can check it on www.remusracing.com Call Motoline for your nearest supplier.
  20. Yeah I'm a goodie too but I'll go to an early one :P I believe tyre pressure needs to be at 40psi for shoot out mode. Also I recommend you keep the tyre shine/black to minimum or not at all on the fronts to ensure there's no slip at all on the rollers. Goes without saying to please check all your fluid levels before turning up.
  21. First service isn't really a service but more of an Inspection and Adjustment. Basically they check over the car to ensure that everything is where it's supposed to be and make adjustments if necessary. If the car feels a little different it's because they've made adjustments to or lubed your steering/front suspension components. They may have also adjusted your throttle.
  22. Whatever Crudd Toyota put's in there. For preventative reasons I've been changing my oil every 5,000km's and the oil seems to stay very clean. Sometimes I really have to double check to ensure they've actually changed the oil and filer ( I score the paint on the filter just before it goes in for service ). I really couldn't tell you what it is though, never bothered to ask although it comes in a bottle labelled Genuine Toyota VVTi engine oil. The topic's been covered before though, so If you have a look, a few people seem to recommend Mobile 1 full synthetic after the car has covered at least 20,000km's.
  23. I couldn't care about the cars, where's the pics of bride's maids ? :D
