  1. One thing I forgot to mention before about the Remus muffler, not sure about the units that are designed for the Sportivo's, however the unit designed for 100kw IZZ-FE 1.8's such as mine is not engineered to give you much of an increase in high end power (only 5kw increase), however it is specifically engineered to give you increased mid range torque. This means that it gives you increased urge between 2500 and 5000 rpm. You feel the difference most when pulling out of corners. But also the downshifts are much smoother because of the reduced back preasure (And sound Great!).
  2. The best I've done is 800 when I first got mine (Running it in and being soft!) but now I'm averaging 600 in mixed driving, however I do use 98 octane fuel (ie Shell Optimax, BP Gold or Mobile Synergy 8000)
  3. I'm ok at this sort of stuff, give me a few days to come up with a design, did we want it to be ATOC or TOC ?
  4. I average 600 in mixed driving the best I ever did was 800 when I first got (running it in and being soft!) but haven't gotten close to it since
  5. I'm there, just need a definite date
  6. $850 is from Motoline in Fertree Gully (Only importer in VIC) and they can put you onto an authorised fitter in your area (I did mine at Carshine in North Melbourne). I haven't got a photo handy but watch this space and I'll get a hold of a digital camera off a friend. You can also check www.remus.com they have limited picks of what the exhausts look like on cars but only have shots from the back not up close. Options depend on which 1.8 you have. (Also eurpean 1.6 fits Aus 1.8)
  7. 205/45/ 17x7 Lowered, won't look right if it isn't
  8. I have a Remus fitted to my IZZ-FE hatch, a bit pricey at $850 for the rear muffler but looks great with two 75x92mm square crome tips, does not drone, and fits to all existing bolts and mounting points. Not too loud but has a nice deep note unlike straight through type mufflers than can sound very high pitched. Also completely emissions compliant. Toyota do offer an off the shelf unit which also sounds ok and would be cheaper
  9. Hey, orroc mine was one of those hatches, remember, Silver, lowered, 17" ROH alloys and Remus exhaust, Did you take photo's of my car? I'd like to see how they came out!
