  1. i saw the ones with the red 'squarish' LED tail lights, you dont have to like them coz you are not gonna trade for one anyway but they do look better in the flesh than in photos...

sat inside a S180 Toyota Crown they are nice and comfy except the dash and speedo was 'Avalon-ish'...

  2. I've been working on 2 jobs now to save money one is govt temp atm and one is doing pathetic dominos driver thing during nights and weekends...

i also would like to earn more for my 2nd job but i got friends there so i sometimes can relax alot more than i really should... savings wise all my savings is in my tax refunds... lol last year alone i got back 2.5k in refunds but i blew all away after quitting my FT job @ southport to go back studies for a bit...

tbh driving from brisbane to gc doesnt save you much coz you blew alot away on petrol and generally running cost anyway...!!!

hopefully next year i can get a more decent job so i can kiss the 2nd job goodbye and look for something more decent, iam living with parents atm and i dont see the point of moving out at any stage unless im buying a house... (being chinese also helps...!!! lol)

  3. Well 80k km service is supposedly a 'major' service for the Yaris which quote from the 'Service Schedule'

    - donk oil & filter

    - air filter

    - fuel filter & in tank filter

    - spark plugs

    - bleed brake fluids

(can anyone tell me why engine or alternator belt replacement is not listed in this major or any major service in the booklet?)

When I used to work @ Southport I took my car over to Hinterland Toyota for her 40k km service which emptied $400 mega bucks off my bank account...

  4. depends on your budget and the models mileage...

Sportivo ofcoz its bigger & powerful every way than the Yaris its apple and oranges really its just a different class altogether, Sportivo has a sweet revving 140kw engine that makes the Yaris really slow and boring...

you cant go wrong with either car as they both perform their intended duties beautifully... ;)

about the 3 door thing yes that was my intention too just me and my bags and gf but ofocz having another 2 doors makes throwing things to the rear seat so much better and easier...!

  5. oh there should be plenty around, the reason i said dont bother with the YR is they are only a 1.3L which is good for city driving if you want to cruise on a freeway occasionally the 1.5L has more power which ofcoz comes in pretty handy...

otherwise all 3 models are pretty zippy for city driving and certainly a piece of cake when you doing parkings etc... another word of advice is dont get the 3 door, try and get the 4 door model as there is more usable space coz you dont need to climb to the back or move the seats etc to access the rear :P
