  1. I got the Formula 1 tint from Tint A Car, about 400 bucks... I got the darker than legal tint which is great especially I live under the harsh Qld sun!

Only problem is that when parking in a tight spot I will need to lower down my windows at night because I just cant see around me lol...

    B) oh nice.. thats the top of the line tint.. metalised film, maximum glare reduction and so on.. top price you paid for aswell, good job..

but darker than legal limit.. what does your insurance say about that?

apologies, im paranoid about insurance

    Hi,

I got your Qs all covered :P

1st my mate always goes there so he managed to get me a great price... (he introduced at least 5 cars there already including mine...)

2nd I got the metallic Formula 1 tint all around my car except the back when I choose a non metallic (same tint %) so that it doesnt interfere with the AM radio signal... (dont ask me why coz I felt my old man will try to get his hands on my car with the AM radio on... lol...) Love the tint coz like I said the real test is during the hot summer when its ultra hot and sunny in Brisbane...

3rd On the invoice, it written that Midnight Express tint for insurance purpose and i was told to act dumb if the fun police ever pull me over also show them the invoice... also he said Aurion and Corolla are not cop magnets so they tend to leave you alone unless you go all funny on them... for the record, his company vehicle (Yaris & Lux all uses darker than legal tints...)

Lastly I do hope the fun police are not reading this and hope they watching porn instead...! ;)

  2. Haha you might make a lot of money from it, but i believe karma will catch up to you eventually

 i'm just kidding... i just work hard and earn a lot of money for my age...

and what are some numbers of that shockingly good price? lol

i got the 3500SL with sat nav, sunroof, extended warranty and free insurance for a year for a drive away price of.............$62,000

this price was when the RRP of all those put together was $72,500...

good thing that your employers recognise your efforts with money... my current employers takes me for granted... lol

ask annup for details...

  4. AGE: 28

SEX: Male (last time I check in the morning...) ;)

    STATUS: Taken...

    Reason for buying:

I work in GC and I live in Brisbane, the Yaris was capable but not the sort of car you want to drive to GC everyday... so needed a better car. Old bangers will probably cost me more in the long run with minor fixes and leaks so I got the Aurion via auction and never looked back since! I still got the Yaris that by fiancée uses for her daily commute...

I was warm to the VE 'Dores but they are overpriced and depreciates faster than a PC not to mention numerous known quality issues...

Ford is a no no no...

Eurocars wouldnt last long under the Australian weather...

I did take a look at the 2nd Lexus but probably maintenance cost will kill me wallet again...

  5. Mate what happen to driving safely? :o

Last thing you want is to spend even more money on a car for repairs rather than rice up the ride... :P

Hope you feel better now and drive carefully next time round!

  6. When I 1st got my licence about nearly 10 years ago... I vividly remembered my 1st near accident... <_<

My mum wanted me to display the P on the car (Camry), we went shoping and as we were approaching the roundabout around Chemside area (forgot the road since i've move down to the south...) this reckless (even older Camry) lady driver over took me with 15 metres to the roundabout cutting into my lane from the right...

I had to hit the brakes and the my Camry nearly rear ended her's as she also braked once she cut in front of me... any Camry driver knows that the 93-98 model base Camry Executive came with only front disc brakes and rear drums... and that was one hell of a hair raising near accident...

I was doing 60 all along obliging the road rules...

Needless to say I took off the P plate as soon as I got home... never had any problems since... :)
