nah mate
maybe for a Yaris is priced differently...
hey i dont know whats the actual price of standard coilovers as i'm a noob lol... :P
-
well hahaa
coz i got quote a grand for the Yaris coilovers (Tein) now i'm not sure if that is the genuine price...
but i was thinking it would have been cheaper than replacing the shocks on a later date given a lower springs would kill the shocks around 40k km mark... (referring to those road use coilovers...)
cheers
-
hmm...
well im tossing up between, lowering the car with pedders springs or kings... watever...
OR
going with the coilovers...
price wise the shocks and the springs replaced seperately would be more expensive overall then the coilovers right?
-
What about the shocks...?
dont they get stuffed about 40k km afterwards after you drop the car?
-
Damn
wish that chrome grill was abit cheaper... <_<
-
yeah I've experience some faulty pumps
its frustating/embrassing on Tuesday nights where there's like a street of cars behind you lol
just avoid that pump next time
Meh... mate... just fill her up on Weds mornings ! lol
-
Do they...?
Bugger.... coz im slack at the servo ! lol :P
-
Anyone knows the trick where I see some people just click it once and it fills up without the driver having to grab onto the pump?
-
Well I got mine for 28k with 20k km on board...
I like the leather etc so it was prodigy or Zr6... in the end Prodigy was more affordable but I still love the car to death!!!
-
LOL
Well i think i will just get it service by a private mechanic!
i dont see a point where i have to spend crap loads of money which its harder to come by nowadays...
-
DONT BOTHER ITS CLOSED
-
I wonder how much additional tyre wear we have with the issue?
Maybe taking it to Pedder to get it fix all in one go?
-
I bargain at JB, Myers and Hardly Normals...
Hardly Normal refused to price match against price list from MSY haha... ;)
-
OK then
then i just go buy my own oil and get a private mechanic to service it...! ;)
-
Yeah but I think i will be getting the car service privately from now on...
Since auctioned cars loose their warranty correct? If so then I dont think I will be eligible for the Toyota Advantage Program either...
-
what savings are you implying to...?
-
Yeah i'm checking my VIN if im registered for that 120 bucks 3rd service, I got the car via auction, if its a no go... then i will cancel it and then ring Greg i got recommended here on the forum to get him to look after my ride...
-
Instead of making a new thread...
I just got quoted for Aurion servicing at Hinderland Toyota!!!
300 bucks for a 30k km service....
-
nice nice...
i like the lowered ride and the rims... 18' right?
but the grill reminds me of fish mouth... lol
-
its stupid having to pay for custom plates every year...
i will be really ****** if they tried to do that in QLD...
-
Meh... rattles are nothing compared to stone chips i've been hit with... :(
2 on the screens and gosh those stupid trucks! <_<
-
the Magna was vibrating like hell when I was flooring it ...!!!
shame it was speed limited but then again hahaa probably the car doesnt have the chassis or the suspension to cope past 200km/hr... <_<
-
This is the vehicles that I tried speeding in... lol
Tried 190km/hr in a Lexus IS200 2003 @ the stretch to Toowoomba
VERY STABLE
Tried 190km/hr in a TF Magna 1997 vanilla sort @ M1
Speedo limited to 190km/hr, it was scary really... not stable at all...
Tried 190km/hr in a BMW 318i 2002 @ the stretch to Toowoomba
VERY STABLE... but compared to the Lexus, its inferior... really...
Tried 160km/hr in Aurion coming back from Sydney
Stable, well not as stable as the Lexus coz its a Prodigy so suspension is relatively spongy...

Good to hear that at least other people understand how annoying HID can be when retrofitted. I agree it may not be as much of an issue with the Aurion projector lamps, which I find actually light up the road quite well if it weren't for the weak stock bulbs. HID to me I think just has too many downsides in retrofitting - warranty, reliability, warmup time, bulb life etc.
Bulb life wise HID trumps all halogen bulbs on the market, but reliability wise you really need to have a very dodgy set to cause problems I got a friend who got a chinese made HID kit for his Echo and 2 years the kit still running strong but also heard they absolutely a nightmare if you happen to have a bad set... <_<
If you intend to change the bulbs like me, retrofitting wise you still would have to take off the bumpers to fit in the H11s low beams or fogs because there is no room to fit in the bulbs at all...!!!
I do alot of night driving as after work its dark where I'm cruising 60kms back home... lol
Just got in contact with Thailand
in Aurion / TRD Aurion Club

Guys...
I've queried around on another forum who also sourced their aftermarket parts from Thailand, and said the company we are dealing with are pretty good and reputatable...
Very good bang for the bucks and the courier fees yes it is that expensive unfortunately...
If anyone could show me how to take off the grill (without taking off the damn bumper...) i probably go for the chrome grill too ! lol
