  1. It may interest you all (if you don't already know) that the three car Toyota Corolla RUNX (Sportivo) team are coming 1st, 3rd & 5th in the London to Sydney rally right now. And their closest challengers are 3 Honda Integra Type R's which are 2nd, 4th & 8th. To be honest the results are more a reflection of the drivers' talents and/or luck at the moment rather than a comparison of the car's ability. And I would expect the Honda of McAndrew to be leading at the end. However the Corolla has won a number of stages and seems a good match for the Type R.
  2. Danz, you're exactly correct. We get so many people wanting coilovers for their car. Why? Are they going to raise & lower their car every weekend? Of course not. They have less deflection, they are much harsher & less forgiving. Fine for circuit racing but that's it. Let me know what you want to achieve from a suspension upgrade & I'll see if there's a simple TRD solution for it. Most likely there is. cheers Bruce.
  3. Sadly Bill, all the details were emailed to me when I had a previous laptop which has since been stolen. I don't recall any acceleration figures. The car appeared on a European Yaris Club website. There could be some information there. Sorry I can't tell you what it was.
  4. That Echo was designed & built by a European design company & Yamaha Japan as a promotional vehicle. It required quite some chassis modification to fit the engine which would prevent it being certified in most countries. Yamaha kindly sent me the build pictures a year or two back. We're about to undertake a similar project in our workshop but with a blacktop 20V rather than a 2ZZGE. This car will be for our 2WD National Rally championship.
  5. It's certainly not like any TRD Grille we've ever sold for this model (or any other for that matter) And every TRD Grille comes with the badge!
  6. Guys, I've joined this forum to clear up the pricing issue so that you can all remain friends. Danthuyer, Peekay & others were happy to post the prices of their TRD purchases on this forum so that you could all benefit from their experience. It was at my request that they pulled the prices off the forum. I made this request because, inevitably, members will compare my price with the prices they have to pay at other outlets, most of which I supply. It's one thing to do this in private but this forum is a very public place and the last thing that I want is a backlash from my 'trade' customers because of the discount I offer to the forum members. Another reason is that, with the present volatility of the currency exchange market, prices do change rapidly (up & down) and so, in spite of the fact that we are one of the world's busiest TRD agents, with groups such as yours we always take the time to handle each enquiry on an individual basis thereby ensuring the best deal for both of us. I hope this clears the air & that I haven't breached any forum rules by posting here. cheers Bruce Sollitt www.trdsales.com
