  1. Nothing beats a 6.2L Hemi w. 20's as standard. Go the sports model of the 300C.
  2. I don't think it can be "fixed" your asking for a standard family car gearbox designed for smooth granny shifting to take an 8K shift. I keep hearing about clutch adjustments but as far as i know the only change you can make is to adjust the pedal-shaft push distance and the release bump stop. From the firewall out there is nothing to adjust. If you weren't getting proper dis-engagement of the clutch you'd know about it at lower revs as well. Stalling with the clutch in, crunching every cog at high or low rev. It's not a hydraulic racing box it's a mechanical device with a slow biological-cable attachment. I've found there is a method to it. I am able to slot in perfectly, but I don't really 'slam' it into 2nd :S. 2nd to 3rd and 3rd to 4th is a breeze though. All I've had is a clutch adjustment. With a better clutch shifting should be improved from what I've seen. Vhao, be very very very ginger but firm. How many k's on the car?

    ALCOHOL!

You b@stard Dylan...damn it. Be sure to get really really drunk, and make sure you visit the shrine they have there dedicated to Jean Claude Van Damme. *"Hey gai! I faight you naow! Goot, well plenty!"* - Kickboxer ------------------ On another note: I can edit my posts without it showing that it's been edited. +1000 Uber points to me.
  4. **** losers sorry to hear about that dude. it's happened to me once before down here (ironically) however when I got on to the highway they couldn't keep up with the lift. hope something gets done for your workmate still.
  5. Fixed :P This is interesting, cheers dude.
  6. Spiderdave, I think you're right. It really is beginning to make sense. No mention of AWD V6 there... Oops...
  7. Simo said he's keen as an STD on Paris Hilton's 'hoo hoo'. Day and time sir?
  8. LOL the names these days are hilarious. The Blade Master G yO It sounds like a seedy underground rap artist lol.
  9. 2nd hand sportivo: 20K average. S/C Kit: 10K Other items to assist drive ability in the rebuild (bigger brakes etc): 5k odd? 35 to 40k. It's about the same. Meh, I'll just make my own TRD Corolla later in life, plus I'm already one step ahead. I've got the car. Plus I'll have more fun 'creating' something.
  10. Feel the love Australia, feel...TEH LUV...here in Canberra. Mick you don't know how happy I am that I'm gone. There's a couple of positions in the government I've gone for (on the inside, i'm a pretty good chance this time...no coming 2nd). 48K start, so I'd be stupidly happy with that. Then I can buy a house next to you and get stupidly hot females to rent it out for me :P haw haw. Mick you 'can' do what I plan to do later on in life. I've narrowed it down to my AE86 project, or an SR20DET powered Escort project (I want a BDG Cosworth, but they're just too expensive [$50,000AU for a complete 500bhp crate motor, to be honest it would be worth every penny, but still lol]). I'll be with you in the detailing department as well. Must get it looking shmick.
  11. I disagree. The Corolla and the Aurion are 2 completly different cars aimed at 2 completely different markets. The size difference is huge as well as the luxury and price of the Big 6. You will not get many buyers deciding between the 2. They are marketed to completely different buyers. HSV have the astra and the commodore in their range and they dont compete with each other. I cant honestly see any conflict. Rollamods Wrote: Seriously... Do you think a V6 FWD auto corolla would compete with the AWD turbo manual MPS's and WRX's?? I know what I'd spend my money on. The Mazda 3 MPS is 190kw and "FWD". How is it any different? I agree it would have to be available as a manual though. The new Rex looks like a Daewoo Lanos, I cant see many enthusiasts buying it. If the car already exists, surely it wouldnt be too hard to bring it out here, modify it enough to be a true TRD car. The power is there, you just have to make sure the chassis came up to the power of the engine. He's talking about that one. It's AWD.
  12. Glad you've been busy man. I left work and took a longer holiday. I've been going slightly insane to be honest, with nothing to do. Thanks to Micky I've been terrorising people with this intake. Had a few people that have given me the old 'OH SHI...' look when the Red Baron is opened up next to them. Yep, it's time for me to at least clean and wax the car again and get out there.
  13. Yes I've seen the integra a few times. Looks like 18 x 7.5 Ozzy RS-GT's. I say, 'looks like' heh.

    ALCOHOL!

I wouldn't mind sinking some of that. Personally the best beer I've sunk to date is a Hoegarden. You can get that here, but sometimes it's stupidly hard to find.

I go to Rob's Gym. He charges me $0 because he knows I'd kick his a55 if he made me pay. Kapooooookaaaahhhhh *Arnold Schwarzenegger accent* would be fun, challenging and rewarding for sure Azz. My friend is an MP in the US Army, she only just boarded the plane back home on Monday. Caught the flu here and was throwing up, but she still had to do P/T yesterday. She shrugs it off, I don't know how she does it to be honest.

walking, low resistance long distance bike riding and swimming are awesome I've found. Head cold is leaving me, so tomorrow morning I start my 13k bike rides again.
  18. He'll hopefully get around to you dude. From what I hear he's usually busy as hell. The buddyclubs that I'm running are 17 x 7 with a +42 offset I think, but I think they were discontinued. What rim model are the ones you were quoted for? Btw did you manage to get a glimpse of Kaze's ride when it had the P1's on it? He's running D2's, I have D2's that sit on my floor and massage my feet, but seriously, they're up in Liverpool waiting for the install. Simply raising it a bit at the front is going to help I can safely say that. 215/40 is the preferred tyre profile as well dude if you riding a bit lower than others. Just adjust the ride height until you have around 1 1/2 finger gap all round.
