  1. I have no idea what mine is... it's a 2001 RunX pics here...
  2. a friend of mine did a 6th to 2nd(when going for forth) change at 120 to throw it into lift to overtake, and blew the oil pump apart... he has no pics, but said it looked the same as when mine blew itself apart for no apparent reason. photos were taken with my phone hence the slightly "off" quality.
  3. really? cool... might have to go to the local dealer and ask... any idea on the part number?
  4. A Cap wont do squat other than smooth out the power supply to the audio gear... it'll still drain the same amount. Personally I have two batteries, only because it was cheaper for me to get the wire and the little battery than it was to get a bigger one. I also have a Pc in my car.
  5. There was one here in NZ built for racing(not sure on class), but it was unable to be used on normal roads due to the amount of chopping needed, there is mention of it on toyspeed.org.nz (a NZ toyota enthusiest club) in their(our) forums, a search for "2zz AND Echo" or "2zz AND Vitz" should bring it up. From memory it was a bit of a monster, and thoroughly kicked ar5e
  6. Just to answer one of the other questions from last year in this thread, my car has TRD struts and springs(came with them), it is a firm ride, but definately not hard or "bouncy". They appear to be progressive rate due to how they compress. Actually they are probably the best feeling springs I've ever had in a car.
  7. When I got my runX(same-ish as Stivo), it had one but it wasn't connected, I attached it to the battery, and then something behind the dash whistled, I disconnected it, and the whistle went away... it's still in there, but only because my lazy a55 can't be bothered undoing a few bolts. and yes, a few hunks of larger gauge wire would do the same... 4ga would be huge.
  8. well, I'm on the other side of the big ditch known as the Tasman, but I'll tell you what it's like when I do it... placed order today, but they wont ship until I've paid for half of the kit, so ummm, yeah, it's a year or so out at my rought estimate.
  9. I'm not 100% certain on this but usually you only have to worry about using ethanol when hitting the 50% pure mark as thats about what you need to kill most plastic. 5% is gonna do 2/5s of fsck all
  10. Just to dig up an old thread... I just got a price from the NZ Blitz dealer, who said "The cost would be $7290 plus GST" so... ouch, but damn it would make a mean one.
