  1. thanks for doing this. again i think this is well organised. so mine and ro11as is getting shipped to you? please hold onto mine until i decide on how i will get it from you.
  2. we have all that. you must be looking in the wrong places. check out the link i sent you, plenty of sedan options there.
  3. buy genuine! generally aftermarket will have fitment issues that is just the way it was moulded. try brute force if you want to change the shape.
  4. i got mine when i purchased my wheels. normally you just get the nuts but the better places will provide full service and give you the hub rings as well.
  5. here is when i had trd waydo on my sedan. for those that do not know, waydo is trd brand for wagon parts. like all japanese mufflers the welds on this was smooth and extremely clean. it cost around $700 and was completely bolt-on. back pressure was maintained obviously with a high price 1zz designed muffler and power is supposed to be increased by this trd product. everything from japan is bolt-on as everything is specifically made for a particular car. if you want this or any bolt-on muffler you need to shop in japan. i said it was different. from the photo above you can see how WAGON products do fit onto sedan.
  6. you really want to put a staggered these wheels were not for fwd
  7. if it helps it will only cost you around $10
  8. i have put my hand up for one but need to pair up and there is no one else from melb yet. anyone from melb?
  9. about if there is tyres then you cannot couriers even though they charge more usually split into 4 packages.
  10. are they directional tyres and you got them on backwards? silica is for rolling resistance and traction in wet conditions. tread pattern the grooves is what channel sounds. certain lengths and angles make more sounds. some companies have used engineers to create patterns that cancel out sounds.
  11. Sounds like you are after noisy tyres. All tyres are noisy. But asking for quiet tyres narrows down the pick considerably.
  12. This looks organised well, good luck! The seller usually has more than the listed "3 available" but you still need them to confirm. Typically that number is decided through marketing and seller fees associated with listing details.
  13. most people do not realise that cusco type os range has actually 2 different bars - one is completely hollow but press ribbed (type 1) and the other is centreshaft sectioned (type 2). unfortunately you cannot choose which bar you get, the catalogue is already fixed depending on which car you have. i remember cusco only makes type 1 for corolla. i have read centreshaft sectioning technique enhances rigidity 50% and more. if that is true definately go for one which is inner sectioned.
  14. reduce jelly feeling with stiff coilovers. i think bars compliment stiff suspension setup. but first you should get the stiff suspension. having upper and lower bars with soft springs you will still have considerable body roll so much so i doubt you could keep up to a car on the track without any of those bars but just has stiffer suspension than yours. anyone agree or has tried this? if you research you should find this out. cusco type os type 1 is completely hollow. all the cheaper less known brands are completely hollow too. that might not matter much to you since the flex is going length ways anyhow. but then when you discover other brands have more advanced designs and it principal stronger stiffer construction it makes you wonder why they do it so. take c-one type r which uses lipped outer bar also reinforced centershaft. and tanabe and the new trd both using oval extruded aluminium. if i was going to pay $200-$300 and more i would want the strongest yet lightweight product there is. cusco type os is old. since then c-one redeveloped and so did trd. their latest bars are now available, get something new rather than old.
  15. search youtube plenty of fireball videos so you can hear what it is like
  16. a word of wording. though looks to be the same, ultra malaysia and summit taiwan design develop for the altis. most likely those parts will work, but maybe you will encounter some strange complications like the dc sports (usa) does not fit onto aust spec corolla. we know suspension works, as the guys in australia with d2 coilovers are actually designed for altis. i was surprised though to find the prices of summit parts they are quite expensive and not with the same reputation as trd or c-one to name a few leading factories. i would rather get the japanese knowing it works and was actually designed for it. but these malaysian and taiwanese parts are making progress in the industry, you know when people are counterfeiting your products. watch out for fake ultra and fake summit. i know people with trd low member brace, c-one chassis bars and tom's low tie bars. just be careful using underbody bars as some products stick out and cause problems with low cars.
  17. cusco type os. they make 2 kinds of bars, type 1 and type 2 in the os range. too bad for corolla they use only type 1 bar in the construction, the weaker kind. although the differences in stiffening may be little, c-one type r bar is a stronger design than cusco type os. if you want something heavy duty you can check the 4 point bar of ultra. i put wrote about all them including carbing and the newest red trd bar in owf, i already pm you the link. part numbers, prices, links, pics etc all there.
  18. toyota established the sa plant because of the japanese yen strength against the aud. great it has created many jobs in sa. obviously they have quality control and japanese expats to oversee the process. if shipping does not change the vehicles condition, either we are too picky on quality, they are shipped that way with faults, or the dealer does something to the cars like fitting equipment.
  19. was that from usa or downunder? in mph or kmph? looks the same as stock the needle going to the top of the dial. better to see it going over 140-160 kmph for the sc to improve the pull of auto
  20. trd discontinued the sc during the selling of trd usa
