  1. pmr is on every week? the only episode i have seen is the one you have mentioned. i thought it was good.
  2. neo 3 is the latest which combines both functions of the older units. if you can afford it get the neo, or find a cheap version 2 unit since it is discontinued or second hand.
  3. It depends on the make of the car such as Toyota or Nissan. The nuts are sports nuts for aftermarket wheels, they will not work with original wheels. You do not put sports nuts onto original wheels, you use original nuts.
  4. 12 x 1.5 Are you shopping for your old car or the new cl7?
  5. cars come like that from factory too. best to live with it as a respray may get worse and worse with panels being pulled off and on, unsmooth repaint with particles, panels not going on again well and so on.
  6. i saw that last year when i was back it was easy to spot. but that time it was the light blue wagon. mobile speed cameras (not lasers) is privatised so those people are not police. the cameras are mounted inside the car and the gear needs to be hidden so they have very dark tinting especially on the rear windows. usually give away sign is the number of mounted aerials on the back windows and how neatly and straight they park on the nature strip.
  7. there is a factory rear skirt with cutout, but not an aust domestic part. what if you got a few more numbers wrong maybe you would get that delivered instead!
  8. good marketing feature which has been done times before on expensive euro cars. laser speed detectors thought they shoot the windscreen? you can see your windscreen lights up red and know you have been aimed.

  10. your car needs to be raised to pass the test and the only way to do that is to get higher springs. use your original springs. if you do not have them anymore get a loan car or one from a friend and swap the suspension. your defects sound pretty common and not hard to pass. if you were in vic they generally try to get you for 3 defects therefore it becomes a major which costs you more money and time to clear. when they cannot find anything substantial they defect you for loose handbrake or not enough water in the wipers.
  11. that was mine. anyhow that one is now old some of them discontinued and sold out. i will be putting a new collection on owf. i will pm you the link.
  12. sedan has different muffler to hatch. the sedan is longer because of the boot and therefore has a longer muffler body. the tip however is still the same small thing. be careful on the muffler since you need back pressure or will lose power in the 1zz. many have gone with the twin loop style available from xforce. overseas where the sedan is more popular there are professional centre pipes to buy offself. after talking with some people, some used things like n1 and lost power. now most sedans are running fgk which is fujitsubo. these are sometimes made for the wagon however since the wagon is only a little bit longer than a sedan, you can get away with installing this (bolt on) and not have the tip sticking out too far out once you install a rear skirt. without a rear skirt it will stick out and look funny.
  13. do you have aircon? they take the lights out to fit it. dealer fitted? good news! when buying a toyota i want it to come from japan. even though european brands are also being produced there seems that toyota was very average in quality in south africa you pay the same amount of money for a car built in japan and south africa, yet you get different components and brand parts. not to mention the seemingly bad quality in gaps and fits.
  14. i used to use the one from a sportivo in my 1zz. the 1zz is a grid but the sportivo (post recall) gets a single bar from one side to the other. with the cone filter inside the box, i am not sure how that would benefit since cone is meant to suck 360 degrees around but by restricting it in a box you are only going to be fed the air from the small hole at the bottom of the box.
  15. custom vented bonnet here http://au.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/inde...?showtopic=9214
  16. allex does not equal runx. the big difference is the engine and another 41 kw.
