  1. Hmm, is the phone getting any dial tone on the line that the modem is plugged into? One way to test to see if filters are causing an issue is to unplug everything from the phone lines, then just plugging the modem in and seeing if that helps. If there is no difference then it is not your equipment and is the ISP's infrastructure. It's always good to eliminate your equipment as the cause because if a service guy/girl comes out to fix the infrastructure and finds it is your equipment they'll charge a hefty fee, which is never good Your very welcome, I used to work in Internet Tech support :) Having taken so much information off this site it feels good to be inputting some of my own back into it :D
  2. No worries, if your looking at plans I'd suggest checking this site out http://whirlpool.net.au/ as you can check if the ISP is available in your area, and set different download limits and such. I use this site all the time to check if I'm on the best current plan, I don't like locking into a long contract as technology always improves. Umm, just wondering if your on fixed line broadband or wireless? My guess is fixed line with a wi-fi modem. But if your on wireless I've known it to be rather slow and can have intermittent issues in trying to connect
  3. Can be many reasons for this, the most annoying of which can be poor line quality. The most common cause is the limit of data has been exceeded but in this case I doubt it. Some more details would be good. As in plan, speed, download limit, whether or not uploads are included. If it is a problem with the infrastructure the ISP you are with will need to fix this.
  4. Thanks for the advice. I myself do like this style though, and don't care too much if no one else does. Everyone has their own tastes, if we didn't it'd be a boring world. p.s Wow, I feel like I've climbed a popularity ladder for VF-X to post :D
  5. Well I was able to install the grill today (pretty easy but was still quicker by checking how to do it on this forum) Only took a quick photo of the grill so its not the best quality but I'm very happy with how it looks Also have got the interior illumination happening in a cool blue and will at some stage change the rest of the interior globes to blue

    My Ride

    Just pics of my ride
  9. Nice purchase :D Welcome to the club. I was in the same sort of boat, between an XR6, SS and Aurion. I have never felt more right about choosing my Aurion Touring and have had many good memories with her :D
  10. Welcome to the forum. Looks like a sweet ride you got there, very impressed :D
  11. Welcome to the forum. Can't wait for the pics :D
  12. I'm seeing a mini convoy happening :D Any of the options sound great Pete, count Barb and I in as well for the 30th :) Must admit the steamboat in the city sounds interesting. Not so keen on the Peking duck idea being a fussy eater, but guessing there are plenty of other menu choices? Well if you's go down we may as well meet up somewhere and form a "convoy" :D Done! Given you're out in Maiden Gully pick somewhere out your way to meet up and we can head out via the Calder Alternate ;) Sounds good, I'd probably say the Marong golf club if it's on the way, otherwise there is an IGA in Maiden Gully
  13. Ah cool, cool. I'm sure you'll be very happy for years to come. I'm loving my Aurion in Black Mica (hard to keep clean but well worth it imo) +1
  14. Welcome to the club. Love the Aurions, what's the little issues? Just red tape crap? Couldn't imagine there being too much wrong with a new car :D
  15. Welcome to the club. Do much four wheel driving?
  16. Thanks. Couple more photos Pic of Abby and another one Abby now has an upgraded stereo system (Alpine Type R all round, with an alpine PDX-5 driving the sound) and will try installing the aftermarket grill today and then takes some shots. If not I'll install tomorrow. I'm sure with all the info on this site I'll have no trouble changing grills :D

  18. Your inbox is full, darn. Just wondering if anything is still left? Looking at the eyelids (probably wont have black so the unpainted ones) and scuff plates. If they are let me know a price and postage to 3551 Bendigo, Victoria Thanks in advance, Benji
  19. If it's the 30th then count me in, day off from work, and will cruise on down :D
  20. Welcome to the club, be good to see some pics as well

  23. I use the Meguiars range from recommendations from friends and have found their products to be really good. My interior has never looked so good, even looks better than when I bought it new :D thanks to Meguiars
  24. Good to hear. I was pretty much the same. I googled Aurion aftermarket head unit and found this site. Full of very friendly and helpful people. Also given me plenty of ideas for improving my ride. Good to see some pics mate :)
