  1. I would personally get the 20% tint as it has more actual practical use. I have both 15% tint and slim line. Slim line weathershields really don’t do much at all.
  2. I had experienced similar problems in my 2000 Toyota Camry before... A few possibilities popped in my head - Grounding issues Check your grounding as per what lateralus said; did you install any aftermarket electronics in the car? Was your car involved in a front end accident? I suggest you perform the “Big 3” upgrade on your car. I personally think this is must for cars over 5 years old. This will definitely help with the electrical system in your car. - Alternator problem Get your alternator checked to see if it’s actually producing sufficient voltage and amp to your car. My alternator wasn’t charging sufficient due to the age of the alternator, extra aftermarket audio system and electronics connected within the car. I am currently waiting for my Mechman high output alternator - Brake light globes My brake and parker light shares the same globe and when one of them blew, the filament was touching each other causing the car to go funny when I have my lights on and braking Hope this helps.
  3. You will need the colour code. Dealer can provide touch up paint, but at a cost. Try the panel shop around your area, many are willing to provide for free.
  4. Hi, Without actually trialling the different systems it is hard to say which Chinese unit is better. But by looking at the selection you have chosen, I would probably choose the first one as it meets your criteria. This year, I have purchased two of these type of Chinese head units. Pull them both out without even one month of usage. Yes, they have many fun functions but the sound quality is poor. I cannot stand a bad sound quality! For that pricing, I would personally buy a quality branded (eg, Pioneer, JVC, etc) head unit. By using the video input function you can link your mobile phone to it. Link - this is an interesting read. Hope this help.
  5. Not going to be any help here, but +1 on convex mirror!

    Servicing

these camry are reliable car, as i have one myself. as long as you have oil and coolant inside, she will run i'm quite picky on servicing. i always change my engine oil and filter every 5000km, also change my transmission and coolant every 40,000km timing belt and spark plugs every 100,000km as for the other drive belts, air filter and water pump, i change when necessary... dealer will always charge you an arm and leg. find a good reliable local mechanic if you don't know how.
  13. Hey Kenku927 No need to use eBay. It's cheap from Toyota. There are two types of remotes for CV36s' One button remote - $56+GST Two button remote - $57.50+GST They are very easy to program. Let me know if you need intructions on programming. Hope this helps. Rob
  14. hi ham1748, sounds like you are talking about the rear bumper bar. if you are in sydney, you should be able to find a good repairer that are willing to repair this for around $350 - $400. hope this helps. rob
