  1. 100% anti Commodore! over rated underpowered big buckets of *****!!

  2. Amazing response, I just mentioned that Stiffening the front end without any rear end on a FWD Saloon would be nuts unless you like buying new rims and suspension due to the ultra oversteering to the gutter all the time lol :P The ultra-strut racing rear support bars don't look very strong tho, would like to see some professional results, the only thing is no one in the world (except France maybe) races FWD Saloons. Does anyone race their Aurion or heard of someone racing an Aurion? the Whiteline range look pretty hardcore for the Aurion but both rear sway and anti roll are very Expensive! This dude has 2 Whiteline sway bars on his 3.5L Camry Oversteering is fun in your Aurion? Bahahaha it's not an M3 :P
  3. I understand mate :) I was planing on getting the struts from Whiteline however Ultra seem pretty cheap. Don't know how they compare to Whiteline racing struts besides $$
  4. Hi Mate, in the FAQ's there is a link to buy TRD grills etc from Samut Prakan Thailand, Bangkok, Samut is about a 20minute drive south from BKK on Bangpee road :P PS buying from Toyota direct = 120% mark up :P
  5. Correct me if I'm wrong I'm probably wrong lol Wouldn't stiffening the front end on a FWD make it overseer more??? don't the struts have to be on the rear end to correct overseer? Just a thought I had after a hard days work, zzzz.
  6. I wish you all the best of luck with the next one, Did Toyota at least make an explanation as to why your trans blew up in the first place I think they owe you/us that after 10K
  7. EVO 8 MR if you have more cash Evo 9 MR and get a MOTEC Computer! fastest beast on 4 cyls! :P Needs a TRD Grill Would look like a (Majesta or Wald) http://toyota.jp/T/carlineup/t_tune/crownmajesta/wald/index.html http://toyota.jp/T/carlineup/t_tune/crownmajesta/index.html
  8. If it's sealed for life why does it state in the Service manual to change the Oil every 150k? I asked CMI (Peter Kittle) this the other day, which he replied that it's part of the 150K service. But according to the dude who called you he said you don't need to forever? sounds a bit suss to me, I think perhaps he's trying not to waist your money, if you haven't done 150K yet. I was thinking about having it done as I thrash the living crap out of the gears dragging off other cars :P ( Any one else thrash there semi automatic and done more than 99,000K's ? and any dramas? I have the mentality that Toyotas are Bullet proof and since I look after my car plus self service it with the best oils and have quality after market parts it will be right :P
  9. I should of known in the first place an Aussie built car would be stuffed! the engine is amazing! 6 bolt crank, can handle a total beating from corner to corner, however the interior is 100% junk! Ive had the plastic boot opener fall off dash rattles everywhere! CD Player gives error1 no longer plays disks! I should of know no1 RULE don't buy Korean and don't buy Aussie! Maybe time to sell and get a Mitsubishi Evo 9 MR,
  10. Great! Just another thing to worry about when she's done over 200K done 100K already so better start saving :P Never buy an Aussie car again! next is EVO 9 MR :)
  11. I believed they where specially engineered by a separate team at Kings. Not the normal King line of springs division And they costed heaps! to bad they couldnt handle Targa. This is what I was told by the Engineer there anyway. There driver wouldn't buy crap. Anyway Supaloc Racing have engineered there own suspension 20K a pop, too rich for me.
  12. Hello, I have had to order a replacement for a cracked RH mirror/indicator, I received the mirror glued to the plastic shrouding today. Is there a manual somewhere describing how to seat the mirror sub assy. The mirror manual in the manuals thread is incorrect (must be LE camry). and doesn't show how to seat the parts inside. My issue is there is a plastic housing with 2 coils seated inside where the 4 wires connect, which attach to the assembly, however there are no clips and it's free inside to move around as well as a L shaped wire hook on the mirror assembly, the manual doesn't show these at all. Doesn't seem like the mirror is actually stable It's not like new cars utilize glues, however theirs simply no hooks or anything to hold the part in place. Any manuals would be appreciated heaps! Thanks in advance,
  13. Please don't use Kings! We trialed the top of the range racing Kings for our 2 Lamborghini @ supalocracing as well as the Porsche and Evo, they sagged within weeks, Peddlers and Kings in my opinion are for Commodores the VN type, if you know what I mean lol! There a cheap work around, and not quality , you will probably have sag issues, and in a FWD hopefuly it doesnt sag on the left as it will pull to the left more! Go for Quality like Tein, I love my Tein suspension in the Aurion, I also have piece of mind that they are superior quality for a little bit more $$
  14. My Aurion rattles and squeaks big time!!!, coming from the both LH and RH air vents, window vibrating on the dash, middle air con assembly, gear area and my knee touching the edge. Drives me nuts! To make things worse Toyota was aware of this reoccurring problem I often complained about and decided to go ahead and order a whole new dash, while I still had 5 weeks factory warranty left. They took their time ordering and my warranty ran out! !! And that’s that I guess,,, ,, I've just ordered a few IBM SAS servers, some of the components are wrapped in high quality fire proof sponge and flexible polystyrene, which I'll try and utilise to repel the squeaks! I have done the middle interior already and destroyed any squeaks as well as its being sturdier; I’m not feeling to confident doing the dash, because I’d rather pull the whole dash out, which isn’t going to be as easy as the quick release middle int. If only they could build the interior with the same flag ship unbeatable quality as the 2gr-fe, 2grfse. A bunch of Trent from Punchies at the Melbourne manufacturing plant!
  15. I've re uploaded the entire manual on filesonic if anyone needs it. http://www.filesonic.com/file/339166244/Aurion_Stuff.zip
  16. Your absolutely right!! So I should disarm the power, Wait for 4 hours re connect it. Drive like Schumacher or Senna and the computer can relearn that!!
  17. Hi All, I did a search on the net prior to this and found nothing. I'm sure it's nothing, just a fuse or Battery related. The problem persisted immediately after I changed Oil, it was dark (pleb garage)so I utilized my high beams for some light aid! changed the oil started the car, all good, packed up. 2 minutes latter my Car doesn't boot up, obviously battery 'cause it sounds like a silenced MP5 on burst lol! when igniting the ignition. Anyhow I waited a few hours and gave it a go, she started ASAP! but! power windows don't automatically go up or down, the auto light is flashing on the Power Windows buttons, is this weird or what! has anyone ever experienced this before, I will go through the fuses in the morning, however the Windows do go up and down manually by pressing the button, just not automatically.
  18. All fixed, sprayed some timing belt grip lubricant, now I have a mighty task of fixing the other creeks and noises from the very poorly cheap Aussie build interior.
  19. not to mention my cloths and and arm! LOL Theirs a very tight squeeze between the ABS and belt. (ohh if only it was a RWD!)
  20. Hi Everyone,

I have just another 07 Aurion Touring. Mods include

Dunlop Direza Tyres (semi slicks), K&N pod, Tien Suspension (lowered) Full Lukey Exhaust, Moded ECU and 18" Apec Racing Wheels. Dyno & 209.9 HP

  21. Hi every one, I'd like to welcome my self to these forums, didn't know they excised till I Googled Toyota Aurion Clubs :P I have a 2007 Aurion. I noticed when I'm idling around 500 - 1500 or at the lights, I hear a occasionally strange intermittent high pitch whistling sound (a similar sound to worn brakes hitting rotors as a rough idea of what it sounds like.) I've just investigated and it sounds like it's coming from the north side of the engine (Fan Belt area) I was thinking it's the belts but when I rev the engine higher than 1500 it goes away which leads me to think it may be something a little more than the belts, I'll try lubing them up however there a son of a b7tch to get too! Any suggestions.
