  9. i'm in I'm guessing the QLD group will stay at the F1 they stayed in for the annual meet in Sydney, or near by (my place). I suggest the twin servos past Mittagong (Marulan) for a meeting place for the Gongers, Briso's and New South Welshmen. Time 8am for a 8:30 leave? FYI, there are road works from Gundagai to Albury (approx 180km), speed is set at 80, so this will be a slow part for us. See below: http://maps.google.com.au/maps?f=d&sou....073425&z=9 My understanding is its freeway on the VIC side of the border, so it should be fast from there on in. Suggestions for breaks on the trip for those leaving Sydney Friday morning: 1: Wentworthville F1, 6am Sharp or earlier depending on how people feel 2: Twin Servos at Marulan ETA: 8am 3: Gundagai - drive into the town and park on the main road, ETA: 11AM 4: Chiltern - there is a off-freeway parking bay for a stretch of the legs, ETA:2:30PM....due to the road works 5: Seymour - somewhere in town, ETA: 4:30PM 6: Melbourne - to the accommodation, ETA: 6PM any more suggestions, please feel free to add them or we can run with this :)

  22. it is a easy process you need to remove the black plastic around the dials, a/c controls and the 2 centre air vents. the whole thing is held in by 4 screws. you need to remove the plastic surrounding the stereo to get to 2 screws and then there are 2 screws in where the dials are. make sure you disconnect the hazard lights button and power mirror controls (and a the dash clock if you have one) then there will be 4 screws holding the dials in place. undo them. you should now be able to access the back of the dials and change the lights. the size of lights you are looking for are known as T10. most car shops have them, but added rice value goto www.autojoy.com.au (there in parra), they have good selection of rice lights any questions, you know how to contact me :)
  23. If get less than 600km per tank i'm spewin'! FYI, i drive a manual things i do to get this: one a week, do a long steady freeway drive (about 40 -80 km) fill will 95 octane (caltex vortex works fine) change oil every ~8000k'm plus filter (nothing flash, just something that does the job) drive like old man where you can, only lay it down if I need to or on at a random moment :) plugs, leeds and full injector treatment (where they take them out and clean) - this should be done every 100,000 along with the t/belt. This is costly, but well worth it IMO i've done the above recently and can say that car runs better, smoother and get better fuel range per tank. the more freeway driving I do, the better range I get off each tank. just recenlty, got 850km off one full tank, a/c on all the time. anything is possible, if you put your mind to it :)
