  2. go to good year in sunshine (next to gold leaf), ask for kha, they do good prices and aren't as busy as tyre professionals... mcintyre road kinda p*** me off but gold leaf parking isn't much better..
  3. Supercheap auto. you can pick up a decent CB radio for under 100 easily with around 5km range which is fine for cruises. lmao, meet up sunshine SCA before cruise to buy radios :P
  4. hey guys, sunshine marketplace location right not sunshine plaza?
  5. 20th!, coming back from sydney on 13th, will be too dead.

  7. spotted johnnieboi one street from my house in sunshine, was driving my red corolla when this guy randomly stops infront of me, was gonna road rage but then noticed your rims :P
  8. How come? I'm sure Reece would be alright... :P my coilovers are too stiff :(
  9. i would offer, but your spine would be shattered after 30minutes :P
  10. 1) Jeffy 2) Tash (am too far away for recon runs for this sorry) 3) Phil (maybe recon run :P) Last time we went for a road trip there it was Geelong, Torquay, Lorne, Apollo Bay. Might be nice to organise some radios so we can keep together.
  11. +1, GOR on sunday! wouldn't mind doing a recon run either :P
  12. unfortunately royal purple doesn't :P, off topic but how is your octane booster serving you?
  13. you can also funnel a tube through the engine bay to fill it up, i think 10mm one from bunnings for $4. some gearbox oil packs don't have that particular nozzle and the engine bay is a pretty packed area.
  14. you really get what you pay for in headunits, you can go to jaycar and get a $200 one, they work... just not terribly well. if you have a nice enough car, then you should save up your pennies and get a nice pioneer or alpine one.
  15. lots of nice cars, great day! congrats to tim for taking out the corolla award! can't wait for pics :)
  16. oh sorry, i meant what car did you used to have?
  17. btw we are meeting at vicroads in sunshine at 10am right? sorry this will be my first meet lol.
  18. consider a cruise down to altona beach if it's nice weather? it's about 15-20mins from tottenham
  19. Lip kit is just add ons to your existing bodykit, such as front lip, side skirts, rear lip. a bodykit you would replace your front and rear bumpers. PU is better as it's flexible, say if you hit a kerb when parking with an ABS plastic lip it will probably crack or break, PU however it will be fine, probably just need a touch of paint ( my mate crashed his PU lip into a kerb today while parking, only damage was the top layer of paint)however with that said, it's really only the front lip that needs to be PU, side skirts rear lip can be fibreglass abs plastic paper mache,so long as it holds then it's fine, you won't expect to hit anything with it. yeh i wouldnt know about body kits stuff, to me i thought those are body kits since it has front side and rear loll... guess we need people who are more pro in those field to explain lol =] sorry. i just manage to find those kits when i was browsing for racing tow hook for my car haha. but with car like ours best place for kits are from japan, if you know anyone can import for you that wud be easy, liked what im doing atm with some parts, im getting one of my work mate to import them from japan and stuff, not really cheap but still cheaper than some place. you can import goods from yahoo japan or jesse streeter (PM me if you want further details), it takes around 6-9 weeks to ship here, currently prices are undesirable as our AUD is low (but can still be a hell of alot cheaper than buying it here).
  20. that's a lip kit + spoiler, not a body kit...... i'd say the price is average? but being ABS plastic it may be more susceptible to damage than polyurethane, side skirts/rear lip isn't so much of a problem but front lip will scrap if your car is low. low quality parts sagg and keep in mind you also need to spray the parts, which is more $$$$ you're probably looking at around 1k altogether.
  21. You may not have bits of metal flow out when you drain your gearbox as there are magnets on the bottom of the sump to collect metal bits and to stop it funneling back into the gears.
  22. if the gearbox is on it's last legs you could try using redline.. 75w-90w should be fine, personally i use royal purple but my gearbox is in pretty good shape. you can get it from this here, cheapest i've been able to find in melbourne. http://www.performancelub.com/Redline%20pricelist.htm
  23. yep 12x1.5 but rays nuts are quite popular so it's a risk that someone may have the key. if you have expensive rims you may want to invest in a set of mcgards, they are probably the most secure.
