OK so the csportvio weight less then 1200kg, so about 1180kg, then where the hell did 1224kg come from? What the navigation system weight 45kg, toyota must be out of there mind i think it is an advertising move so they can backup there 0-100kms claim of 8.4sec. Goodone toyota :)

Hey anyone from the sunday Celica Corolla meetup are going to post the pics.

I really hate it when there is a problem and Toyota services says it is a common thing or we have fixs it and its not, they seem to either fog it off or dont know what they're doing , i know for sure my last car never had any of this problem. When i take my friends for a spin in the cstivo, they can hear the brakes in reverse and vibrating noise from dash or keyhole, they ask is this a second hand or new car or have i abuse the thing!!! :( , Man iam tired of bringing it back to toyota, each time it is a 4 to 5hour wait for some stupid brakes noise, i just have to put up with it for a while now. OK after all that bitching i still love my Cstivo :)

I find that if u let go of the clutch too quick the whole car feels like its falling apart, it hurts everytime i practise landing in lift :( , only landed once since i got the car, may have to ask others on this 06 Sunday MEETUP on HomeBush how its done.

So its happening this Sunday 6pm right at HOMEBUSH ???

It also depends on the area u live in also, if i quoted my insurance let said postcode 2000 or eg eastern suburb it would be cheaper, but i from the west and insurance premium is quit high iam over 25 with a 70% no claim bonus :( , paying abit over $1700.

About paint protection, i had it done in my old car, and i actually saw them apply it after my first smash, Its was in a car detailing place, it took 10mins, all they do is use some clear liquid and apply to your car, then they use some buffing machine thats does figure 8 motions. I ask what is that liquid they said once it dries it becomes rock hard.

Also when u let go of the clutch too quickly, man talk about whiplash, , so sharmz does the semi-auto celica can be landed in lift when u rep it to almost cutout or the gears change automatically.

What i mean by brutal is u can wear your clutch out and tyres quicker, gear change has to be quick and the clutch must be engage only about 1/2 way in, its not easy but it can be done

Hey 2ZZGE owners, since i got the corolla Sportivo about 4months now, had not once landing in lift from 1st to 2nd, 2nd to 3rd ok, I finally got it once in lift from 1st to 2nd gear :D , man it is a good feeling, but what i notice is the wheel spins in 2nd when landed in lift and i find it brutal. Anyone have the same feeling or it is just me, a pretty Crap driver <_<

Thats right, even with those small problems u will still love your car :D , I hope Toyota will realise that people do care about there car and will fix those problems!

Even better, i want to see how the corolla sportivo vs celica 2zzge would be. I believe the celica would have the edge! <_<
