My carmy is done 150,000 kms now ,that's what i thought too it is alot ,and i been only using shell and BP fuel i cleaned it with super cheap decreaser spray it on leave it for 5 min and then rub it with your fingers ,and do it over again till there is no more dirt ,then i washed it with hot water, and just dry it with a blow dryer

OK so i went to super cheap and they want 200 for the pump ,so i just decided to give it a good clean with lots of decreaser, it turns out you can remove the bottom filler which is weird that you cant buy it separate from Toyota that is how dirty it was before cleaning after cleaning it all the dirt came out all ready to go in the mess

you can get the gt car kit it works for the satnav or get the facelift model 2009 they have aux built in ,

Andrew -am going to take out the filter tomorrow hopefully ,will take pictures of the bottom firssecondlast - i went to super cheap yesterday they said there not sure if it does come with the filter ,unless i order it i was watching on YouTube some people clean it , is that OK to do ?

Thanks for the info ,i went to Toyota today and that's what they also told me ,its $677 Toyota said it comes with the fuel pump ? that's a joke am not changing my fuel pump just for a small filter i just need the bottom filter strainer anyone tried to clean it or do it another way ? there must be an alternative ?

My car is due for a fuel filter change so i went to Toyota and purchased the filter, i told him i wanted the complete unit including the bottom filler ,but they never give you the right part unless you go twice loll does anyone know what the part number is for the bottom filter that connects the the fuel pump ? see the pictures below OLD NEW Part number for the fuel filter is 77024-8Y002

OK that's weird that's how i wired mine up and it worked fine ,and mine was an after-market too .

Speed sensor is the purple wire , reverse signal wire is the red wire

OK so the camera came your car right ? and you just added the unit ? or you added the camera ?,OK by the looks of your plug i think you will need to get the PZQ60-00151 camera harness, but don't take my word on that , give it a try its $22 bucks ,i think its the right plug don't forget the harness has speed sensor which goes to the purple wire in your steering wheel control plug, and you also have the reverse signal wire ,which is on the Gray plug on pin 5 ,but you might get away with just plugging the extra harness in if your car came with a camera ,it might be all done , here is the harness close up
