    I bought a 2003 model with 146000 on the clock about 2 years ago & apart from normal servicing every 10000 I've had no problems but as with any car purchase make sure servicing was carried out at the appropriate intervals . Their a great little runabout & cheap on fuel, hope this helps...

    I bought a K&N replacement filter for the longevity, all you have to do is clean & re oil every 80000k's.

    Can anyone help, but I need to know will the later model double din radio's say out of a Corolla,Rav4 etc fit in my 2003 Echo?? It has the standard factory double din radio fitted. Thanks.....

    Had 5 people & a boot full of luggage to Salamander Bay (near Nelsons Bay NSW) from Sydney & the best I achieved was 7.4L\100, happy with those results. Just returned from Ulludulla & could only get 9.5L\100 possibly due to hilly terrain there & back. Had 4 people & boot full of luggage again. Still impressed by fuel economy from a family sedan.

    The passenger seat doesn't have an up & down function only the drivers seat
