  2. well i've never seen you so i have nothing to compare it too :P what are you driving?
  3. Dude, that's why it's going. Johnny boy has worked some behind the scenes magic because he always cops such a pasting. A great shame it's going huh? The final episode will be one worth seeing that's for sure :)) nice pic ;) not you is it? :P
  4. Hey guys, I've read the posts and am more confused than before I started. If I wanted to buy new globes to give my baby white lights that are going to last a decent length of time, what do I buy? Muchas gracias! P.S. the baby = 2005 black levin

  6. What if I'm getting a loan for it??? Not everyone has that amount of money lying in their everyday bank account. In fact you'd be stupid to have that sort of money in your everyday account, could be better elsewhere earning interest! today's financial advice brought you by mulla. all good advice, all the time. hehe jk!http://au.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/style_images/1/folder_post_icons/icon6.gif ROFL... yep and if anyone has any spare cash burning a hole in their pockets I'm more than happy to take them off ya! hehehe. gold. :))

  8. hehehehe - reminds me of GIL the real estate rep from simpsons everything that i stated on my original email was the truth and i'm more than willing to state that to anyone that will listen. UPDATE: Mitsubishi Australia called me yesterday and asked if I wanted them to contact the dealer principal over the matter. They need my green light to proceed apparently. I'm still chewing it over.
  9. Hey, big thanks to all you guys for getting behind this topic. MsRola your words are on the money. By all means continue to voice your experiences, but stop short of telling people to avoid a particular company. That's when one can get into trouble. We can all read between the lines with stuff that's posted here :) I actually contacted Mitsubishi as well over Nepean Motor Group and they have asked me if I wish to take it further. I'm still deciding on that one. A list will be made from this discussion and I'll post it up as soon as it's done. thanks again.
  10. nice set of wheels by the way. love the old skool rollas ;)
  11. People have a right to hear the kind of service and treatment i received there. If it's viewed as defamation then the place i went to is at fault, not me as all I'm doing is replaying my experience there. I do understand though where you're coming from and I appreciate the sentiment Ms Rola.
  12. he was trying to say, unless of course what i stated was the truth, in which case more power to you! free speech. nothing that was stated in my initial post can't be backed up with facts. cheers kelvin btw. thanks dude.
  13. nah man, I'm talking about buying a new car and Nepean Motor Group on Mulgoa isn't a toyota dealership. They have cars from suby's to nissan's. They're a used car dealership. But totally agree with you about some of them sucking after what I saw over the weekend. And yeah about toyota am sticking with them for now but hey that could change if they don't look after my set of wheels. Went from Parramatta to castle hill and they seemed pretty good out there.
  14. Hi everyone, I invite you all to post the worst encounters that you've had the misfortune of experiencing, when looking for a car. Feel free also to name the dealership, yard, whatever, as well so that people reading this can know to avoid these places like the plague. Let me start: Dealer: Nepean Motor Group Mulgoa Road Penrith Complaint: extremely rude, bordering on abusive customer service basically for firstly, not agreeing blindly to pay their over-inflated, out-of-touch with the market, rip-off prices and secondly for telling them we could double our money selling our car privately rather than accept their insulting trade-in offer. We then felt threatened for our personal safety when we were ejected from the premises. I have never experienced this in my life before and am still amazed. I will never even contemplate buying a car from Penrith again let alone this dealership. This is free advice. Take it our leave it. But I implore you to take it, save your time, and look somewhere else.
  15. The SA413 1987 Swift GTi weighs in as the lightest GTi ever made does 0-100 in 6.8 seconds according to the roadtests. Its like a motorbike to drive and drops 500 rpm each gear change with a 7500 orange line and 8000 red line. 100 kph is 3500 rpm. This is the EPI G13B series one pre pollution stuff. The EFI G13B series 2 is slower and the SF car is heavier by 50-150 kg and is slower. We own three. My daughters (Silver and Saxony Black) Son (RED) and I (White). We get 100km for 7.5 litres 400 k from a 28L tank. My daughters is an ATECO Group A Body number GT104 and makes 220 k with a road gearbox 100 kph @3000 rpm. They weigh in at 750 kg and set a lap record at Eastern Creek years ago when they blew away Johnstones RX7 until the poor sports protested and the GTi was disqualified for runing 1350 cc instead of 1298. Engine is all alloy forging, holds just 5 litres of coolant. 5 litres of oil. The crank and pistons are forged. Supposed to (100 hp? from 1300 cc.). They are so light they are used in ultralight aircraft weighing just 750 KG take of weight and cruising at 180 knots with a max continous power de-rating of 5250 RPM And they have been around since 1986, I have owned one since 1988 and still do, dont want to change to any other pocket rocket.. The 1600 engine is stroked G13B and lacks real go. No one I know has fitted a Cultus engine into a gti even though they are 1600 cc. The trend is to turbo the g13B so the pending turbo 1600 should go really well but its at least a year away according to the press release in Sundays Herald Sun and will be 27-33K. 2 cents Dude no offence but those two "cars", and I use the term very loosely, are the ugliest things I've ever seen.
  16. Good stuff!!! Yeah im sydney man.. neext time theres a drag day at WSID on a wednesday night you shoudl come down. SOmthign tells me next one there will be a few 1ZZ's going down. 18. sweet :) .... and we'll see about the not being as quick as the 02-04 bit as well! :) No actually he isnt joking cos if your car was built in October 2005 or later then its engine was detuned from 100Kw and 171Nm to 93kW and 161Nm in order to meet the stringent Euro IV gas emissions restrictions. so even tho the books say 100kW it's actually only 93kW? im from sydney. what kinda 'rolla is yours dude? and where you from? would like to see that thing in the flesh if you're a sydneysider. i'm also sfter a pair of black TRD car seat covers. Know where I can get some???

  21. Hey everyone, I'm keen to find out if there any known issues with the Levin. (eg) it has a different box to the stivo so does that mean the issues that i'm hearing about the box in the stivo won't affect the box in the levin? cheers
  22. I service my car at Fergusons with no issues. Customer service is fine for me. Always willing to look at issues i idenify and always comes out washed and dried on the hour. jst got a service yesterday, i have aftermarket springs and the camber was out- they did a wheel alignment and balance as well as a rotation for $60.00 and who do you work for? :D no prizes for THAT answer :)) have a good night guys
