Hello to all Aurion members, It has been a very enjoyable and friendly time here with you guys :) . I would like to say a big thank you to all you guys and girls who has helped me and given me advice during my time here in the Aurion Club. Today I have signed a new car with Toyota once again and will be trading in my baby Aurio for a new car. I will still be a member here on TOCAU but will would like to pass my thanks and farewell to all you Aurion members :). The new car won't be in until next week if I am lucky otherwise I will have to wait until June :P. I still love Aurions and they kick *****! Wild7

Hello and welcome to the club. How much are you willing to fork out? I would suggest going to the wreckers for some "Cheaper" Recaros. As in Steering wheels I used to be a big Fan of MoMo steering. That was before I got an Aurion lol. Anyways keep us updated with your upgrades and enjoy your stay here :)

Wow Rebz. I understand if you are a car lover you will spend a lot and time on your baby but $10k-12k is a bit obscured lol. I spent 5k on my STi before I got my Aurion and I regretted it up until now lol. I swore to myself never again will I exceed $2500 at most haha. Your car your call but gosh after seeing 10-12k gone like that on your TRD I wanna cry. Sure it looks good :) but I love money more. Haha

It's more about liking the look of the TRD that you would ever get a trd rear bumper and diffuser, not to make people believe your car is really a TRD. i have the trd bumper myself but i don't think my car is a trd i just like the design and shape it leaves my rear end with it on ;) i like the colour your Aurion has, something diff ThanksBut I want to ask u something... Is my at-x modify like ur car? Doesn't matter what car you have. All cars can be modified, just depends how much $$$ you want to spend on it and how much effort plus time :) I would suggest working on each are at a time instead of doing everything at once. Plan out what you want then upgrade/modify in steps. This way if you are not happy with what you did you can stop and correct it instead of spending heaps of $$$ then realising what you did isn't what you wanted in the end.

Rebz you do make a valid point. :) I guess it all comes down to how you want it. It is your car and nobody's afterall.

Yer I got my front grille from bodykitskingdom and they are good and reliable. I second Jeffy on them!

I was so tempted to get that TRD rear Bumper for my sportivo :( but I would never live with myself. Trying to be a TRD when I am not T_T

Haha I like the TRD body kit esp the rear. I just think that paying more than I should for a vehicle that's much older than mine kinda holds me back. I love the supercharger but imagine if car breaks down I'll be paying parts and labour similar to a Mercedes would cus it's a TRD badge. If I had extra money that I can spare I would definitely only get one as a Sunday drive. =) When I had the Rex back then I didn't even know what a TRD Aurion was until I drove my mates. Omg I have never felt that much power at the front end I fell in love at first drive. Reason I didn't get one instead of my current 2011 sx6 was because the deal I got from Toyota. The one I am driving now was a demo which racked up 9000kms and was selling for 28k instead of the brand new price of $42-43k. I eventually got the sx6 for 25k because at the same time I got 2 camrys and a presara for my business and if I didn't get the 4th vehicle for a good price I'm walking to another Toyota dealer. Haha they agree'd on $25k straight away and all was good :P

To be honest I was talking about this with Tard not long ago. She told me the ups and downs of trading my 2011 Stivo Sx6 for an TRD. She made some good points which convinced me not to trade it in and keep it. I really love the TRD Aurion for its supercharged engine and body but at the end of the day it is actually a downgrade from my 2011 Sx6. TRDs have a history of high maintenance and easy wear along with expensive parts and repairs since it's a TRD. That alone alrdy convinced me not to getting as I precious my wallet more than the TRD. Also the more recent TRD will be at least a 2008 model and most likely the owner would have thrashed the poor thing until they sell it. Tard did make a comment which made sense that if I am going to spend $20-24k on a TRD I might as well spend it on something which I can play around a bit more and customise more. Don't get me wrong I love the TRD Aurions and it will always be one of my favourite cars but to weigh up options if your chasing for interior and performance better to get a is300 or something which will be similar in price for a 2008model. I have decided to keep my sx6 at the end and save my money for later use. Sx6 may not be a superb vehicle but it looks better than most cars of that range. I used to drive a STi Rex 2005 model but never regretted changing to and Aurion and giving up my Rex. Correct me if I am wrong but I am just stating my views and advice. Of course you don't have to take it :) Atm the ZRs I see on car sales sell for about $20-22k for a 2010 model. My experince recalls with aftermarket parts and customs installed it will not inflate your price of your car. Most people don't care what you have done with your car and want to pay the flat out value of what it is worth stock or not. It's a bonus for them if work has been done but hey ain't willing to pay extras for work which you have done. It sucks yer but that's how it works :(. I spent 8k on my STi and no one was willing to pay for the extras I done to it. At the end of the day I lost 5k worth of after market work. I will never fork out more than 2k's worth on a vehicle. Unlike a house/real estate, cars don't inflate, they only depreciate over time. Like I said I don't regret trading my STi for an Aurion ever! It just regret spending $8k when I was a kid on a car which would never profit for me=((((( Wild 7

Haha I prefer to try it on a quarter mile run. Baby Aurio will at least have a chance. After changing over from and STi to a FR car I needed to adapt to the whole driving pattern all over again. It was hard to adapt at the beginning due to myself being so reliant in 4wd system I did find the Aurion was scary to drive with all that power at the front. After changing new wheels and tyres it was much more friendly from the stocks and feels much lighter. Taking corners needs early line entry rather than just cutting it in compared to a Rex haha. I do somehow enjoy feeling that power at the front. It's a change and I don't mind it. My missus on the other hand find it really scary especially when she oversteer haha.

Being in Australia I should support the local car manufacturers but I cant ever see myself driving a holden or ford hence I bought myself an Aurion after my STi. I need to move onto bigger cars. I have to admit the holdens now look so much better and I was almost tempted to go to a holden dealer and get a new sv6 but being Asian, holdens never look good whilst an Asian driving it. What I always wanted was a r32 GTR because I am really into initial D the maga and that car I fell in love at first sight. I never bought one due to the fact most I have seen have such high mileage but I dont mind having it for a sunday cruise if I find one. I do agree with you Tard about the Aurions but I really liked how they look. If i got the TRD aurion kit and chucked it onto my sportivo I will never forgive myself :( haha

I'm asian btw if you hadn't know. I will always be a ricer :D and i hate euro especially VWs. Golf, Sirocco and Polo etc... Dislike them with a passion and Hondas too :P. Sorry Honda boys, I dont hate you for driving it but I just dont like their cars and oh god that V-Tec blurgh Perfect P-platers car though :D

Hmm I understand. I've had turbos before and I am kinda over turbo cars now being 30yrs old. I am more into v6 or v8 atm. I love the sound and the grunts it makes compared to my previous 2006 rex sTi with the blow up valve. Sounds so childish to me now. I will never drive a car with blow-up valve anymore. It doesn't suit me but I love the TRD Aurions. Just looking for one with low KMs. Always will be a fan of the Aurions minus the current model LOL (ironic aintI :P). Never driven a supercharged TRD would love to. Is it me getting old or am I just getting more boring haha. I hate to say this but I think I am over turbo cars unless its a GTR r35 ;) or the new supercars Supra coming out :D

Thanks Tard. Unless completely convert my car into a track car and reduce the weight a stock SX will always be faster :(. I hated to be wrong but that kid was right about my turtle :(( Nonetheless I live my turtle with all my heart! I am however deciding on picking up another Aurion, a TRD :) for a Sunday car.

Totally agree! Can I just confirm with you guys if a celica SX is actually faster than an Aurion in general? I am just curious thanks!

I am glad about you all agreeing me with kids nowadays disrespecting every car they come across. During my whole life and up until now I have never once criticised or judged someone's car and called it crap. Everyone has their reasons and ways if doing things. I respect that. If I don't like it I will keep it to myself but will never once make public if my opinions. Oh did I mention he had put a TRD badge on his car? Luckily I long removed mine cus it made me look like too much of a try hard haha. I wanted to say something but declined to because I will never disrespect a car even if the owner was dissing me. Grrr

Did I just make a fool of myself? My car is actually weaker and slower than his SX? >=( Now I plan on trading my Sportivo for an actual TRD seriously. I really wanted to punch that kid but I'm a grown up and I should never let a kid provoke me into it. Damn so his SX is faster :( fml. I really made a fool of myself T_T.
