Haha I think I should share this out to my beloved Aurion fellow members. A mate of mine has paid the crap outta me for buying an Aurion 2011 Sx6. He says they are cheap crappy japanese DIY machines compared to Holdens and Fords. He rather I get a Skyline, Rex or Evo for the price I paid for my Aurion. Although he was my mate and I have known him for 14 years, I really wanted to punch him for saying **** about Aurions. Anyways the other day he got booked for speeding in his Ford Xr6 turbo on the highway by an unmarked highway police car. He lost his license and copped a big fine for going over speed limit by a fair bit. I asked him what car it was that the cops caught him with and guess what? ........ (Drum roll please) ........ An Aurion Sx6 LOL. I know it sounds harsh but I felt satisfied and happy :P Sucked in Ford lover I thought haha. He also changed his opinion of the Aurions now cus he descibed the police vehicle as crazy. He thought about outrunning it he told me but he saw how fast the Aurion caught up and did the right thing, to pull over ^^# I just wanted to share this with my fellow Aurion lovers and hope you feel satisfiedafter hearing this. Things to be happy about: 1. Ford fan caught for speeding and losing license + copping a big fine. 2. It was the Aurion who kicked his ***** LOL 3. Getting compliments from a Ford Xr6 turbo driver about Aurions :D Kim

Agreed! Actually I changed my 2011 Aurion Sx6 stock grille for a SPorts grille. I am not sure if the 2007 models have the same specs as the 2011 in regards to grille. If my grille is compatible with your model then maybe we can sort something out. I do not intend to re-install my stock grille back on even if I sell my car in the future.

Nothing Dodgy :) Plus all their parts are very easy to install yourself :) If you need help to install your grille I can assist you if you need. Very simple and straight forward.

Kombi I changed it already. I did exactly what you said and also with the guide of the pictures available here. Cheers all. It required me going berserk mode on the plastic panel and luckily it didnt snap or get deformed. Its all back in place and now looks no different. :) very happy with the parkers now matching the low beam :D Love ya all and thanks for the help !!!!! :D :D :D

You can try to google Bodykits Kingdom if you want to modify the exterior of your Aurion. They are based in Brisbane. They have a variety of Aurion mod bodykits and grills including ducktail and sports spoilers. They are also on Ebay so you can search for them if you want. http://www.bodykitskingdom.co.uk/magento/ i dont know why it says co.uk but it directs you to the AUS site. Dont worry :) The site is legit and I have bought my eyelids and sports grille from them and they are very fast responsive with answers to your questions and also the shipping/delivery time is very fast. If you are in Brisbane you can pick up ur parts from them and skip the shipping/delivery fee.

Ebay for the win! Yes I have bought a few items for my Aurion on Ebay and none have disappointed me yet. Be aware though, only buy from the sellers with a good amount of positive feedbacks. Never risk your money for unknowns. Most of the items are pretty straight forward to install if not I am sure you can find a technician or mechanic to do the job for you. It wont cost too much since most of it is plug and play :) Welcome to the Aurion Family. Time to make Holdens and Fords eat dust :D

Dammit. I scratched myself to death trying to replace the parkers tonight. I failed and didnt get anywhere because I couldn't reach all the way to the parker lights. Seriously why does Toyota make it so hard now to change the parker lights :'(. I am really worried if I bend the plastic panel too far at where the wheel arch is it might get deformed or snap :(. Can someone please confirm with me, that by removing the bottom 2 screws of the plastic panel where the wheel arch is, will the gap become greater and wider hence being wide enough for easy access into the parkers? I'll give it one more go and see but if someone can confirm with me again that the gap is considerably wider then I would very much appreciate it. I am atm deciding if I should change it or let it be :(

Agree with the above post. Imagine how many more poor people will be affected by this Dealership from Hell. Hearing this really sickens me and I feel for you JSR. Talk to the second Dealership about the dodgy one and get them to support you with the evidence. If the complaint is ignored, go to Fair Trade Australia and lodge a full complaint so they can investigate. You should not have to put up with this. These dealers tarnish the Toyota brand and should be made responsible for their incompetence.
