  1. Called my insurance (AAMI) they were fine with a strut bar being put on...for extra money of course
  2. Hrmm never thought of that, well lets see what the insurance says <_<
  3. Just out of interest Couzellion, what tyres do you have? I got 225x40's on.
  4. Good to hear. Stanced eh, I was gonna go stanced but wanted to be able to rotate the wheels, if not flush enough I'll aquire some spacers for the rears.
  5. Just an update. My wheels arrived 19x8.5 with +28 offset, just waiting on the coils and strut bar then install. I will post everything in the main wheel size thread once all done.
  6. I saw on a BMW forum that the extenders can be cut down to size, I've ordered 250mm just to be sure, I'll let you know in a few weeks how much I trim down if they need it. I chose 8kg front, 5kg rear, haven't received a call yet saying they can't custom to that spring loading, fingers crossed. I bought through option1garage by the way. Anyone have thoughts of where/how I can poke the extenders through so they show in the boot space instead of through the rear speaker shelf?
  7. http://www.option1garage.com.au/BCRacing.htm This guys sells them. Sorry man I can't remember where I saw the warranty info. Hrmm, I was wanting a bit more on the rear. Does anyone know what length rear extender we need, 110, 200 or 250mm?
  8. Just to clear that up, possible void of warranty for changing the springs after BC have sent them to you. If BC change springs then warranty is fine.
  9. Hey Couzellion, From what I've been researching you can change the springs, also read that this will void any warranty you have on the coils though. Haven't found any springs being sold though, I haven't bought mine yet didn't look into it.
  10. Logan I can recommend Pirelli pzero nero, they are a little more expensive than other brands but the grip level and noise level is fantastic and well worth it :) Peter how many km's you done on the Pirelli's, I'm reading on reviews that they get noisy after some wear.
  11. Thanks very much guys, still not sure which option I'm going but either way will let you know how it goes.
  12. Thanks guys. Do you know what would be more concave. 19x8.5 +30 or 19x9.5 +45 Just a bit stumped as to if the extra inch width adds 25mm greater concave or 12.5mm (inch is split onto either side of rim)
  13. Hi guys, Been searching the forums but haven't quite found the answer to my question, any help and experiences is much appreciated. Of course like lots of us I want to push the limits of the wheels :D , I'm not looking for the biggest wheels but lowest possible offset for stance whilst staying flush with the fender. Car: 2008 ZR6 Wheel setup I'm looking at: 19 x 8.5inch with +30 offset Coilovers will be used and yes will want to lower as much as possible I guess my first question is: On concave wheels, does lowering the offset mean that the spokes are pulled inwards on a sharper angle or do they stay the same. Do I need wider rims to create the angle instead? This was posted to me: http://www.customwheeloffset.com/wheel-offset-gallery/241/wheel-offset-2009-toyota-camry-flush-dropped-1-3%22-custom-rims These are 19 x 9.5inch wheels with +40 offset Could someone confirm that by me saving 25mm in width of the wheel, means I can add +10mm to offset. I figure that the extra inch is split in two (12.5mm) and placed on either side of the rim, so I should be 2.5mm under this. Thanks again for your help everyone. Alex
  14. Poop, the link doesn't work :( Do you guys know if the front bumpers can be switched between years, I have an 08 zr6 and was thinking of swapping it to an 11 front. Is it possible to do a straight swap, eg: all the clips and attachments in the same locations? Thanks
