  1. My dad's 08 SR5 xtra cab 4.0 V6 has plenty of heart and soul for my liking, especially with the chrome grill. It has the show and ALOT of go. Runs the xr6 close i would say. Corolla's of every generation for me also have that something special about them IMO. I guess it comes down to taste. As said above, Toyota's world wide sales state that they are very desirable.
  2. What about something like a clay bar? might not completely remove them but may improve it?
  3. For a flawless finish i think you'll have to respray the hood but that would be costly to say the least. Unless of course you have 2 pack spraying experience or know someone who would do it for you for a few beers. Good luck bro, frustrating i know
  4. Hey Guys and Girls, Just wanted to see if anyone could help me. I have a 2005 Corolla Sportivo with 6-CD stacker headunit. I want to be able to listen to my ipod in the car but want to keep it looking stock on the inside and not spend a whole lot of money on a new touch screen headunit (the only thing that will look half decent). From what I've read up on, one option is to go for some thing like this: http://www.gtacarkit...008_car_kit.php They still aren't cheap though so it got me thinking (and here is where you guys can help): Do new Toyotas have AUX and/or iPod input? If so, will any of these fit my car? (Plug and play would obviously be ideal but I'm not to shabby wiring up head units since I've done a few.) Where do I go about getting one? Wreckers comes to mind but so does water damage since they are exposed to the elements. Thanks in advance for the help.
  5. awesome.... love these. Great buy. Has the engine been reconditioned?
  6. Upgrading 2005 sportivo corolla headunit with newer toyota headunit.. Any info?

  7. Love my Sportivo. Have owed a prelude before and I'd say the prelude is only a touch quicker but sacrifices everything else you get in the corolla. The sportivo's are more expensive but its a toyota so it holds its value and also comes with all the options (leather seats, climate control, 6 cd stacker 6 speaker stereo, all power options, airbags, 6 speed manual and the celica engine...). I'm biased but i really dont think that you'd be disappointed.
  8. Hey guys and girls, Great site and have been an occasional browser for a while. My first name is actually Luke but anyone who recognizes my profile name will know where I'm from originally. Moved to Australia 3 years ago and have owed 3 cars since. First was an 1992 ae94 seca 4afe. Yes it was not a 4age but i loved it to death. Learnt so much working on it and did all mods bar tint myself. Second car, and the worst car decision of my life, was a honda prelude 5th gen. It went really well but after 2 months i couldnt do it anymore, i needed to be a toy boy again ha ha. So sold it, made a profit and bought my baby that i have today... I'd always wanted one and took the plunge on a 2005 Corolla Sportivo. Its absolutely stock as a rock and I'm in no rush to change that except for maybe swapping the headunit for a newer toyota one with aux/ipod connectivity (anyone with any info on how viable this is please share your knowledge). Talk to you guys soon
