  4. Anyone know what size washer to buy for a 1zz sump plug and gbox drainer plug? Cheers
  5. The aurion handles like turd mate... speed isn't everything lol enjoy paying for fuel and fines
  6. Forgot about this! Okay so just before I purchase the items, can anyone tell me if this is right? According to Evo7, the 1zz horizontal bushing can be replaced same as the 2zz. But the vertical requires a larger OD bearing roughly 26mm. Would these work for vertical bushing you think? Or is it the wrong measurements for width and ID http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/6000-ZZ-10mm-id-x-26mm-od-x-8mm-wide-Metal-Shielded-deep-groove-ball-bearings-/360464535544#ht_770wt_699 and these for the horizontal. 608Z http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/NEW-608Z-bearing-double-metal-shields-NSK-JAPAN-top-Quality-Skateboards-2-PK-/190752776032?pt=AU_Skating&hash=item2c69c05f60&_uhb=1#ht_500wt_716 Then was gonna shove in some rubber O-rings as I have them lying around instead of metal washers, as long as it's snug it's ok? http://www.gulfrubber.com/parts/o'rings.jpg
  7. awesome, they'll be on my shopping list. i figured it'll probably more cost effective to just get a silvia or a skyline, or something if i want speed. but i got an other question, does the rim size makes any difference in handling? or it's just a matter of looks? I think im running 14", so it looks a bit tiny in my car. I bought it for real cheap 2nd hand, i think the dealer had throw in smaller wheels. cheers! Exactly. A supercharger kit for 1ZZ-FE around 3k isnt much but is not exactly a large gain in power, would still get chopped by most non-eco cars on the road. Turboed 1ZZ is moderately quick but for ~10k, might as well sell up lol In terms of wheels, a little bit bigger like 15" or 16" is fine, but too big is heavy and will adversely affect handling. I recommend a slightly wider tyre patch on a wider wheel but not marshmellowed (too wide on thin wheel) causes sidewall flex when cornering. Something like a 16x7 with a 205/50 is plenty for the amount of power you're putting out and a good amount of sidewall for comfyness on the street
  8. Don't bother trying to squeeze power out of it. It's gonna be slow either way, but improve the handling to make it more fun to drive. I'd do these in this order - Good street performance tyres, no linglong chinese junk -> Kumho KU31/36, Toyo T1R, Bridgestone RE001 etc - Decent shock/spring combo or coilovers -> Koni yellows + Eibach springs or Cusco coilovers - Larger rear sway bar to limit understeer -> Whiteline 22mm, TRD 23mm or cusco - Front strut (minimal difference, not worth it IMO) -> whiteline/trd/cusco In addition to this, i'd say enhance driver experience with: - Short shifter kit - Weighted gear knob - Bucket seat
  9. What's OEM type grill? Pics of grill and wing tips please?
  10. Item for sale: Genuine from toyota japan Corolla window visors pair for front windows. Fits ZZE122, ZZE123, Ascent, Levin, Sportivo. NOT fake ****ty ebay made in china junk Excellent condition, comes with all clips Price: $30
  11. Yeah where bouts you at? Yep die for threading the shifter. Not sure what the best way to do it would be. Either remove the whole shifter from the car and place it in a vice... or have someone hold the shifter really really still while you turn the die
  12. I have a cheap tap/die set mate. It was like $12 on ebay years ago lol so it's not exactly "heaps of money". not really sure how to use it either :S just used it to fix up the thread on a gear knob cos it wouldnt screw in smoothly it should have 12x1.25
  13. heavy duty loctite but imo just use a tap n die set n thread it up, then use some light threadlocker or use it as an excuse to buy a short shifter :P
  14. Because sportivos have a fukin **** rear sussy setup... you cant even have fitment without chewing guards and tyres. the wheel doesnt camber in as the sussy compresses like civics, integras etc and most importantly of all, its a corolla... 'stanced' or not, its still a gay corolla lol kids these days... still trying too hard to follow trends oh and by all means go low. when you get pulled by a hwp (and you will sooner or later)... its roughly $385 fine, major defect (possibly tow your car home), requires a RWC to clear. i spent over $1300 to clear my defect just cos i was too low. do it man, cry and tell the cop how youre a sick knt and low is your lifestyle
