i was using the search function in the forum well, i rang up toyota and told them i need to change my gearbox oil, they told me they need to change the panel filter in the gearbox or something..they quoted me like $150 without the gearbox oil

I disagree completely. Unless you sit at the traffic lights for a good 5 or so minutes, you will waste much more fuel re-starting the vehicle then letting it idle. Best way to save fuel is to either shift like a grandma, or ride your bike. or walk then you don't have to stop at traffic lights

i think u will be looking at around $250 for a beginners chasis (electric), but it also depends what accessories you've already. Battery, remote, charger all up cost just as much as the car

not when you know a car audio shop and install for free of charge also, caps are for really big system, u don't need it if you are running something like 700WRMS, but once you get to a point like 2000WRMS, it is a life saver for your amp especially if you don't want to blow it up

too bad i have uni exam on tuesday, which is today and still studying for it or else i would of came as well and if the meet is in brisbane next year, i would definitely meet all of you's -
nices... that thing will fly i was looking at getting the brushless motor as well, but then the tamiya gear box will probably break, so i'm looking at getting a new car, xray T2 is the one i am looking at buying. how stable is the car at cornering?

warm up your engine for like a minute doesn't waste that much petrol, cost you 5c most. I would rather warm my car up a bit in the morning than having to drive around with a really cold engine and thick motor oil that doesn't lubricant anything
