  1. No updates. Instead I've been chucking money into the various other moneypits in my life for a bit. Simon, the original just screwed out, eBay one screwed in. No special talent required. The eBay one is still on firm, hasn't budged.
  2. fair enough. keen to see the end result
  3. a guy was selling an aztec gold conqest/ascent that he added on sportivo bars and skirts to a while ago. had the risers listed as extras he could throw in if the buyer was keen. apparently got them from a wreckers a few months ago when a sportivo went in t-boned but just hadn't fitted them yet. [not sure why he didn't get some when he got the skirts and bars prior to that but didn't really want to enter into the guy's biography] rims and springs are a yes but i'm not gonna go in on the kit. the bonnet has now started to peel so going to get that fixed up same as the roof then get the risers done at the same time. then yeah some springs and eventuallllllly some rims (still leaning towards enkei92s) and after that will just chill out and chuck my money into the various other moneypits i have on the go at the same time as the car.
  4. how'd you go with the tail lights vin?
  5. nah not lately. tried again via text and ebay when he put it all up again but heard nothing back so have just decided to drop it now.
  6. Thanks mate :) How did you go with the risers? not great. i offered him $300 for the risers and the mudflaps together (all of this already sprayed to the same colour as mine). bizarrely, he then lowballed himself down to $150 because someone had already bought the spoiler but left the risers. i was like yeah that's cool i'll have a mate out to you this weekend with the cash on him. tried calling, texting and then emailing on the friday to get the address and make a time and he didn't pick up or respond for a few hours when i get a text message saying something like "hi this is not leon, he had to go overseas suddenly, i am houseminding and looking after his phone for him, not sure when he'll be back and he didn't tell me about any gumtree stuff" pretty weak. if you've sold them to someone else, just tell me. BUT THEN he relists the whole lot on ebay and also has been leaving ebay feedback for people he's been buying star wars lego off during the time he was "overseas" and i couldn't get hold of him. leon from north parramatta you are a dog c unt
  7. the RPF1 looking so good
  8. the aerial swap was mega easy and probably took between 30 and 38 seconds
  9. the miniature grill is pretty good
  10. looking back at the photos above after you put your wheels on: noticed there's more wheel gap at the front than the back. mine (still stock) is the other way around
  11. also: interesting that the aerial on the sedan is on the side whereas on the liftback it's at the front of the middle of the roof.
