pull 1 of the bolts out and take it somewhere like coventry fasteners (free plug lol!) and they will be able 2 tell u what size and all that :D and get u 1 exactly the same......as long as its in stock hahahaha

Talking about Launching hard. When I launch hard (5000 - 6000) the car tends to refuse to go into 2nd (No - I do not wanna discuss my Gearbox woes ) Well OK ... sometimes it does go in ... and when it does ... B) I was just wondering at what rev you were launching at ?? ← first launch was at 5000 - 2.5 60 ft second launch was at 6000 - 2.4 60 ft The key to launching in our car is a slight slip of the clutch...dont dump it. and if need be slip it slightly in the 1-2 change also so you stay in lift ;) It also helps to smoke the tyres, as my first run was with only road driving temp. the second run I smoked the tyres before the lineup (rubber from the track all over my inner guards and under the car now :o ) ← it had better be clean b4 friday!

im still using the toyota oil........ the dealership is very keen 2 help me even though i didnt buy the car from them, they are sending me some oil so i can keep an eye on it, its not leaking so im pretty sure its burning it.... will keep yall informed :D

hey Bill yer i know but some body said in a previous topic that there was un unofficial recall on the clutch.... my clutch has been adjusted and 90%of the time its great the other 10% its crap lol Briony

i spoke 2 my dealer about the rumoured recall and he knows nothing about it but told me 2 keep in touch, so any evidence of it being so would be great

that would be pretty cool..... ud think that working in a bolt shop id know that lol! (ive only been there 2 months :P ) thanks mate will keep that in mind :D

Hey everybody :D i have just started replacing all the bolts in my engine bay with stainless socket head cap screws. Was just wondering if anyone else had done this and if they had any pics. I'll post some up as soon as i get it all done :D oh and btw please dont anybody put stainless screws or stainless anything in to aluminium (like the motor for example) cos the stainless and alloy will gall up and it will be very hard 2 get them a part Briony :D
