No its in a tight spot, i found some images on google and it is descibed as a water seal plate the funny thing is i ordered one from toyota and the thing has stoped leaking.

Hello is it worth going a 20mm rear bar as my car has a 17mm and what is a good set of heavy duty rear shocks cheers.

Hello I have a water leak right beside the oil filter (camry 2001 v6) there is a shiney steel plate held on by 2 nuts is this a "welsh plug" or not, can i just replace the plate and gasket cheers

Can you buy a under boot molded mat 'not the floor mat'for a 2001 camry from toyota if so how much $ cheers Neill.

Did you disconect the battery first you might have to take it back out and double cheak connections, cheak fuses,see if you missed an earth wire good luck.

I am a newby, I am a mechanic and have had a lot of different cars along the way mainly holdens, i still have my vx ss commy which is pulling 233rwkw's. I have driven many cars as i am an old fart 54, i knocked my brother when he bought a v6 2002 camry but i have to admitt now owning one for a few weeks i am impressed with the build quality with 214000kms on it, I no complain Cheers THE DON.

I thought i would get a few conflicting reports any one use castrol magnatec 10/40 or penrite semi synthetic 10/40 thank for the replys Neill. ps what grade oil would toyota have been using cheers.

Hello all new member here, what sort of engine oil should i use in a v6 that has 215000kms this car has always been seviced by toyota just bought it, but i am a mechanic so no more toyota i have serched but get diferent oils eg fully synthetic 5 /30 semi synthetic10/40 ....... cheers Neill.
