  1. Don't Toyota have lifetime warranty for all genuine parts and accessories? <_< If so, go to them and ask them to replace them... that or ask your mum to sew a big rubbery patch over the hole :P
  2. When can one score said deals from dealership? Is it a matter of luck or is it twice yearly or something?

    Colour?

My colour is called Steel blue. This is darker to the mica blue seen on the newer models. Am I in Team Blue then?
  4. Are you for real real or play play? $300 sounds like a genuine bargain. Anyone able to 'source' one out for my Conquest?
  5. Sorry to hear that man :( Of course you didn't do anything to deserve this. Some people are just seriously fcuked in the head. Hope the Scratch X works for ya.
  6. 'Source' aye? Sounds really dodgey. Sure they don't just get someone to pilfer parts from another car?
  7. My mate used to own TRD-20V and it was a great finishing touch for his little twinky. Love the ZZE-122. Who owns that? I've seen something similar on a silver corolla sedan. I remember seeing a 122 on the plate and thought it was cool. I love it when your plates are specific to your model/engine and only other enthusiasts with a similar car knows what your plates mean... It's like a silent nod of approval
  8. I agree with most of the comments already made. PPs should either be about the car itself (model, engine, a statement about the car etc) or about the owner (initials/DOB/a nickname). PPs with silly, mispelt, dyslexic words are w@nky and unnecessary. Who really cares if you can spell h3c71k like an idiot?!! What I love seeing are plates that don't make any sense and it takes someone else to point out what they mean... p.s. This is just my opinion and no offence to anyone who has a w@nky plate :P ... It is a personalised thing after all.

    Silverchair

I do like the Chair but Straight Lines isn't really them. First time I heard it I hated it but it has since grown on me. It's still not very them though... Agreed that DJ is looking healthier these days. Natalie Imbruglia must be looking after him pretty well.
  10. RME1 - just out of curiosity, if you've got a sportivo - why did you replace your spoiler with a sun guard? Also another (possibly dumb) question: When you buy the spoiler from Toyota, do they do the re-spray for you so the colour matches?
  11. Oh gosh what have they done with the old sexy piece of @55?!!!! :o :( Looks anorexia on the hips with a wide booty still... Liking the face but but but... overall it's not the same :( Will have to get used to it like the Echo when it first came out... But I agree, need to see one all kitted out...
  12. Just adding a quickie to this thread.. For those people wanting a set of replacement tyres in the same size as original (and someone may want to update the first post with this) Toyo make their Teo model tyre in 195/55/16. They're listed as a "Touring" tyre, so may not be everyone's cup of tea, but for between $140 - $150 per corner they aren't bad value for money ;)
  13. Spotted a red sportivo with the plates VVT-18S on the M4 (city bound) and then Parra Road on Saturday night (27/01/07). He appeared to be cruising alongside us :P
  14. Spotted a white Ascent with Sportivo rims at Blacktown markets (Drive In) yesterday. Anyone here?
  15. Isn't that a cascade blue? I've a conquest, not an ascent. I will think about changing my username in good time if that is possible.
  16. That's funny, someone else has exactly the same forum name as you. And welcome!! :D Lol. I assure you we are not one and the same. I couldn't think of a better name and I wanted to keep all my forum personas different. Thanks for the welcome! Panic Blue, I love that bishop blue colour as well. Go Toyota for splashing around with different colours! :)
  17. Newb here. Been reading TOCAU for a while now and have just signed up. I drive an 02 conquest in a steel blue colour, hence the name. I am on other forums, but with another name... Anyways, plan to learn more about my car so I'll know more than the bf :P
  18. Definitely the rolla (not because I drive one) for everything said above as well as the better resale value. In the long run, the Corolla will be worth more than an Echo made in the same year...
  19. Yep, as above. Your service book will list all the things that need to be done to your car, depending on it's usage. For example: Your car may need more work done at a service if it is used for heavy duty work as opposed to just weekend driving. Remember to bring the book with you on the day so they can stamp it :)
  20. Saw a black sportivo at Westmead Hospital last Friday (05/0/07). Driver drove through the Morgue delivery carport area to avoid the speed humps!
  21. Yeah, it doesn't worry me too much. I've been told that this noise is normal. I will get it checked out at Toyota next time I have my car in for servicing.
  22. I kinda have the same problem with my 02 Conquest. Each time I go over a bump, my driver's window rattles/makes a small clunk noise. Is this normal to all power windows?
