hi again, well i could not wait after test driving the Rav4 v6 i fell in love with and bought one this weekend. will be ready at the end of the week. didnt buy new but a demo with 5000 kms and silver in colour... cheers

Hi everyone, is there anyone here who works in Toyota? would they be able to tell me if the new 09 rav4 coming in September still has the chunky spare wheel at the back? and if there is any major changes eg. trip computer, air bags etc im keen to buy one but dont know if there will be much difference between the old and new. cheers Bru

I heard the fuel consumption on the camry is not that much less then the aurion. the other option i have is ford focus and honda accord second hand of course.

I guys, im in the market for an Aurion in the coming months after i buy my house and just wondering what your thoughts are buying a new Aurion based on the current Fuel Prices. everyone says its bound to go up even further, and i dont want to spend most of my money on Petrol. the other draw back is if petrol continues to rise will the value of the Aurion keep coming down because less people would want to drive V6... so my dilema is should i buy V6 or go for a smaller car...although i need the space for Pram, shopping daily routines.

Hi Cheeky age, I planning to purchase my stivo next month. How are the NVH level inside the car?? Is the car smooth and quiet or raw and loud similar to the integras? I have driven the old model but wondering how the new is. cheers Bruster

Hi Guys, Just thought i would let you know i found this review on the Corolla Run-X Rsi which is the Corolla Sportivo in Australia. Apparently the Torque has been slightly changed, in short there is more torque available in lower revs than the previous models. Subtle changes but sure to make a difference in 0-100 times. Hi guys, Last year i heard the new sportivo was due in Jan - Feb but i haven't heard anything yet. Do any you members know if it is going to be realeased at all? I've waiting a whole year to replace my car and im afraid i might have to look at the something different. cheers Bruster

Thanks WRC_Rolla. I went to check out that RAV4 site and its quite good, lots of info. My reason for posting this topic was to find out more about RAV4 because im going to buy a car in January and im tossing up between the RAV4 and the corolla sportivo. But at this stage looks like the sportivo ahead and that maybe be my next purchase. thanks again.

I reckon, by adding a supercharger or a turbo and lower it. We could have one seriously fast RAV 4. The only disappointment i have is the interior, if it only could be as good as the Stivo.... I prefer the 3 door though

Hi guys, What does everyone think of the latest RAV4 3 door??? Do you think there is potential to make into fast Rav4 Sportivo? I went to look at one and the interior does not look no where near as good as the Rolla Sportivo in terms of quality materials and features eg. Climate Air Con. And im thinking is it really worth $35,000?

Hi all, From what i hear the engine on the Corolla Sportivo is exactly the same as the Celica. Has anyone in this forum who owns a Celica had any problems like this? Seems pretty strange Corolla's seem to have this problem and yet Celica's have not reported any similar problem from what i have seen. Maybe just maybe it could be an issue with the car's computer on the corolla's as they are re-mapped for the Stivo. What do you guys think?

Danthuyer, I know this is a corolla forum but i just gotta say something, if this is true ( the signs ) that your G/F is cheating i would not hesitate to kick her out immediately. My advice to you is follow her in your friends car ( so she does not suspect you ) and finally find out the truth... if it is true when she comes home she'll be suprised to see her bags and stuff out side the door, dont even bother fighting with who ever she is seeing... the best revenge is silence and living life better and happier than her. I've been there and trust me its better to find out now and move on with your life dont waste it on her. As for the RUST, Toyota should have rust protection and warranty. You check it out on the books and you'll save alot of money.

Hi guys, I am new in this forum, and i have been reading your comments for awhile now. I'll be purchasing my sportivo in January or February when the new model comes out, but i have been confused between the accord euro and the rolla sportivo. And so far the Rolla sportivo is the better option for me, we'll see in January. Also this brings me to the topic which i mentioned above ( Galleries ), how come with so many members in this Forum you guys dont have a Corolla Gallery? Because i am very interested to see the members Corolla's and mods done to it. Unless there is already one but i dont know about it. cheers
