  1. This is what I mean. I've seen this 'Inferno' colour mentioned numerous times and each time it looks different. This is the TRD Aurion, supposedly in Inferno Red. Now, I like that red but the image on the Toyota website, which is the one Danos posted - looks "orangey" - and I'm not as keen on that colour. if they had the inferno red which is the trd concept color, i would pick that with my eyes closed. so sexy. but unfortunately they only have it on trd aurion. You sure that's not Wildfire - which is a red not currently available on the SX6 or the ZR6 this is what i know. the trd aurions production model red color is different to the concept color and the normal aurion range. theres a cherry redish color in the aurion range and i think thats the one you guys are talking about that has been just removed from the list. that was the color that i recommended. i dont know why i wrote inferno red above. mustve mixed it up with some other red. the color that i would pick with my eyes closed is trd aurions concept models color. sorry for hedfuk :)

  3. awww come on... no love for the cyber green?? :( hate green on cars. hate it so much that if they gave me a ferrari in green i would still not accept it. green only looks nice on people and trees imo :D hate it to death on cars. sorry :) got too personal lol
  4. the carrera gt unfortunately got beaten by zonda f late last year by .2 secs. 7:27:82. hope the cgt gets the record back.
  5. the black imo does not show off the car very well even though its my favourite color on cars. i was originally going to get black but didnt like it. also the other thing you need to worry about black is the cleaning. no problem for me but you might not like to wash your car very often and will look dirtier quicker than the other colors. the cherry redish color looks really good imo. im not a fan of too juicy colors even though i bought aurora gold which imo is the best color for the car but i think you cant get it for the sx6. still have a look though if you like the color. silver is another good color. so its really upto you at the end. if you wash your car regularly, you dont need to worry about people saying ohhh it gets really dirty quickly :). if so that leaves you with black, inferno, silver, white and the light blue. ive numbered my favourites below to help you out with the color. 1. aurora gold 2. cherry red 3. white 4. silver 5. blue 6. black 7. inferno 8. (new) dark grey hope it helps.
  6. Yes it's not like the formula of hotting up your highest selling model is not already a proven success (re Mitsubishi with the Lancer, VW with the Golf, Subaru with the Impreza and so on). They could make two models with performance being the differnece a TRD Corolla with AWD (maybe) and a slightly warmed engine and uprated suspension and a TRD Sportivo Corolla with AWD and either a Turbo or Supercharger. Surely that would sell rather than the difference just being some luxury features if the trd aurion had awd, it would be selling like cupcakes. i know it would cost them more to build the thing but are they happy with the sales of trd right now? doubt that and they have to fit awd on that thing any time soon if they want to boost up sales or atleast drop the price down because not a lot of people would buy that thing. too much power through the front wheels. hilux sells very well and would do good with the trd goodies but that depends on the price again and corolla definately needs to be tuned by trd. makes more sence.
  7. hi guys, does anyone know anything about lowering a leased vehicle? a friend of mine wants to lower it and wonders if he could put the standard springs back on the car easily when hes renewing the vehicle. lawl
  8. I think the wheels look great - Do the rims actually say TRD on them ? That would be the only down side to using them on a standard Aurion. Trouble is that they'd probably cost twice as much from TRD compared to a set of similar aftermarket rims. rims do not say trd at all. just the toyota emblem as you see in the picture. which is good. they cost as much as a brand new set of bbs chs. so its actually ideal. lot of the wheels you see around that go for bargain prices will show its quality as years go by. thats why its better to pay extra.
  9. asked my cuz to do a quickie on photoshop the other day and this is how it will look with the wheels and a bit of lowering :P
  10. am i the only one that likes the trd wheels :)
  11. deep dish would be nice. hamann black deep dishes would look nice but its hamann. too damn expensive :)
  12. To each his own micky t very true, and I respect that. Still just seems weird to me. Why not just buy a TRD one? its only wheels. it wouldnt make me look like i couldnt afford the trd version. if i fitted a trd front bar on a aurion sportivo and yes ive seen an aurion like that, i would look like i wanted my car to look like a trd and that i would find stupid :) but imo the black trd 19s would look stunning on my gold zr6 with a drop. its all a matter of taste. but thank ya for sharing your opinion anyway. i didnt want to buy a trd because i dont believe its worth $20g extra. if it had awd with a flappy paddle gearbox than i would think about it :)
  13. its too much of a ooo heyy look at meee im white and i have ... :) fugly.
  14. i might be able to get some with a help of a mate :P
  15. does anyone on the forum have these wheels or have any information on how much they are? also are they sold to the general public or just trd aurion owners?
  16. Built in ones are much harder to steal and sell off. But are generally not as good as 3rd party ones. 3rd party ones a very easy to steal, if you get one, never leave any signs that your car has one. Don't leave the mount on the window, don't leave a charger there. Make sure its all hidden well. Can also be changed from car to car. In my opinion, I rather get 3rd party GPS+Bluetooth such as tomtom or Mio c520. I don't think the factory sat nav has voice guidance text to speech (telling you the street name), but I could be wrong if toyota has update recently, can any one confirm this? I bought mio c520 (gps & bluetooth) and very happy with the product for around $400, you get car charger and home charger as well and you can unlock the device so you can watch the video, ebook, word, excel, powerpoint, read pdf etc. Those extra benefits for you, eventhough I seldom use it but I would like to watch the video while waiting in the car (not while driving though). Furthermore, you can update minor map , red light and speed camera for free and...if you use a lot of calls, there is a feature for answering the call in 3 secs or 6 secs etc without doing anything. Yes, you can have added security as well but probably the thief will know how to by pass the password I guess since he/she wants to steal it and know the product. So far I leave the mount on the window but I lock the gps or bring it with me but....if bad luck then you need to replace the broken window by the thief and probably damage the storage as well if you lock it because the thief might try to open it. Maybe leave it open so you only lose the broken window without replace the storage I guess.... Anyway, with or without GPS, any desperate thief will try to break someone car.... The plus side, you can use this GPS third party (c520) for walking/bush walking, listen to music or watch video etc... I guess it is all depend on your needs and purpose... ive just recently bought the factory sat nav system for my zr6. i havent received it yet and its quite good as its an original sat nav and has good features like bluetooth usb entrances etc. but the only thing is that it doesnt play dvds. if money is no problem, i would recommend the original thing imo as im more into things that look stock in cars. tomtoms are really great too and if you dont care about the way it looks in your car, get the tomtom. features wise im not sure how they go head to head but the original sat nav unit can get upgraded software wise so its really upto how much you want to spend on it. ill be very happy when i receive mine as its a factory sat nav and has loads of features. only if it played dvds. but that can get done for a couple of hundred bucks i guess.
  17. Lol... really Umm i dont think there is a way to force it to play DVD's...... so im guessing you paid a $2000 dollar GPS unit, toyota would be smiling. Well did you ask which one you are getting?, if you didnt you can guess by the price of it. over 3k RRP will be the factory looking not black one... i paid over 3k so it should be the silver one then. :) i asked her which 1 i would get and the lady told me that theres only 1 sort and that its the factory fitted version. i just dont want to be shocked last minute if i see an ugly black thing in the middle of the console. :D i paid over 3k so it must be the good looking one :) why is the black version also cheaper? i couldnt also find any features of the sat-nav. would there be any info in the aurion manual? Well according to the Toyota website, its basically the same as the stock unit unit, minus 2 cd slots, plus GPS and bluetooth which generally comes with gps units anyways these days. http://www.toyota.com.au/Accessories/acces...64_1312,00.html (though this ones for the black unit). Im guessing the black one is cheaper because its a pretty much like an aftermarket option, doesnt blend as well as the silver one and plus the silver one i assume Toyota assembles these whereas the black one is probably from a cheapo company rebranded. Some thing I just noticed is the Black version has a AUX input, which is definitely NOT on the Factory fitted version. And the Black one does not have FM2 ( I dont what this is, but it hasnt got a button for it ) yeh looks like im going to have the factory version. plus they would not fit a black version from the factory as it doesnt suit with the console so, my guess is same as yours. the black one must be as an aftermarket version where as the silver one is the factory version. hmm thats not right, when i asked the melbourne city toyota they offered me which one did I wanted, though I said no to both. Umm you can get the facia replacement for 30 bucks and that should fit that black one... dealer is different though. i made my dad call up for the order from toyota and i later took the phone and asked which 1 i would get and the lady said that its the factory version. they would not fit the black one in if its a factory version. like another buddy said, the black one must be from a dealership as an extra. they wouldnt fit the black one from the factory as it also doesnt match the console. ill call soon and ask about it. does anyone know if it would be expensive to make it play dvds.

  20. your kidding me :D *** damnnn it. is there a way to make it play dvds? ive ordered the factory sat nav from toyota for aurion zr6 and im not sure what its going to look like. because theres 2 that i know of. one suits the console perfectly and the other one is black and doesnt match the console in terms of colors. any ideas??? OR
  21. guys i jst ordered the factory sat-nav system for the aurion zr6 and was going to ask if any of you buddys know if it plays dvds???
  22. yeh i want to see the difference between zr6 and trd power wise. btw the decal on the front window looks good.
  23. mine said 10000 as well and my next one is at 30000 :D who knows how much they say for holden. every 5000 i guess :P
  24. That's because for Toyota owners reliability is actually a factor in the choice of car where as the Holden owners know they are getting crap and are not concerned with reliability (it's got a V8 [insert yellow circle with brainless moron look]) they give sht to toyota because they are jealous of our quality. lol
  25. REPOSSTTT :D jk. i saw it on youtube and sent ya a msg to join this web. glad you came on. how have you been? any mods yet?
