wondering how much for labour r u paying.. <_< people dont just go around helping ppl for free... have u even walked into a proper audio shop, and ask how much for a HU plus install? i believe tons of shops out there are happy to do it..It's not a hard thing for them..

pay the extra $30(roughly) per year, then insurance co will cover the cost for a rental car during car repairs.. even, if comprehensive ins, taxi to/from work. I think you gotta call and check with your insurance policy..

If it is for protection, then it's ok.. for look? there r better way to mod your car..

well, my story a year ago, i lent my camry to one of my best friend for 2 weeks, we had the same thinking that, "if damaged, you pay"- those kinda stuff. Returned with damaged side skirt, broke into half.. talk talk talk... bla bla bla... (skip the middle long part) Our friendship ends as a result. Worth it or not? At first, i was happy i found that she was "THOSE KIND" of person (or mayb affected by other friends), but after a year, when all these bcome a memory, i was little regret.. Friendship was goner.. This is why, i decided, no, absolutely no one can drive my car. (other than CLOSE family and people who is farking close, fully trusted and fully understand the consequences) (mayb also have enough cash on standby) It's just not worth the trouble..

..... However, don't fall into the trap of thinking that because you put some mods onto your car that your car is now worth significantly more. Often it is quite the opposite, unless you're lucky enough to find someone who appreciates what you have done and can see the value in it. :) yes, it's correct.. *sadly (best option: keep the things u modded, put it back to stock, then sell.. that's why there is so much corrolla stock stuff wanted/FS on tocau marketplace..

I would guess aurion(not talking about other models) to be runnin dep similar to hold or ford, coz it's v6, most people out there are tired/cautious about fuel consumption, and they will hate those biggy engines(esp those dying v8s) And older they get, less value + more petrol consumption.. that's why price drop? m i correct? <_< (also, if they knew aurion's problem with the rattling and stuff, they would be worried to buy them at older age..)

dont turn it off on the road, even if there is no one other than u, and u THINK u have clues what u are doing, think again.. first time turning it off on the track and goin little over, i nearly pee.. but not on aurion, coz it's no fun at all.. as DJKOR said, nothing more than hop hop hop~

Well, if i were to entrust my car to some1 else, I'd still leave my keys in case of anything should happen that requires him/her to move the car aside. That's not the issue here thou.. guys, air intake mod on aurion is fairly simple. Look for K&N intake kit for camry/aurion, using their diagram and step by step instruction, u can put any intake system you like..

why would u leave the keys there with someone else.. when i left for oversea and my house is taken care by someone else, i still take my car keys along(or at least locked in safe)..

but the remote also don hv the pause button... (I HATE IT WIHTOUT THE PAUSE AND PLAY#^%^#%^%^#&(@#%) a little regret with the issue above and also the woofer setting.. but i m happy with the navi. Conclusion: This unit is better for navi-ppl, rather than audio-ppl. (experience from using 2 alpines, 2 pioneers, 1 eclipse dvd units)

remote is very cheap.. like $30? I did get one.. reason: coz it's only $30..

just got my avn6000, weird, are there any pause, play button on this??? even if i buy the remote, there wont be any pause or play button?? how weird? or should i start reading the manual....?

I had similar experience, and ended up spending much much more to 'fix' them.. then i decided, rather pay someone to properly do it.. I "polished" the car when I first got it. the worst thing I have done for a while. Left the car with millions of spider web looking scratches. I quickly learnt to "wax" NOT polish on new/well kept cars. Was a ok brand, like "turtle polishing wax". Thanks for the tip, I didn't know about a sealer. Isnt the clay bar a wax ?

I would laugh at those type too but this is not case here. I was after something originally from TRD. A badge on the mat is not a solution for me. Gees 10k on your Aurion! You must be rich. If you post a list of all the mods you did to your Aurion with 10k, I bet you something would be laughable too (to me at least0 but hey, that's not why we are here in this forum, right? B) spend some time read more on this section, u will know then~ <_< listing it all up is just not me, feels like bragging.. i m happy to meet if u r in vic. but save your time coz u might be busy everyday~ only the audio/navi itself $5k wif custom boot (i think i m the few person first to get it done on aurion?) hks intake with cf box catback and the most was spent on a big secret, told ELEGNT before, but not worth mentioning on forum.. *edit, not forgetting the basic 20" rim with tyres, imported from jap..
