vic's legal for rim size is 2 inch more than original, so yes, 20 is max, but quite a lot of ppl dont really care. For example, camry max is 18rim, But in reality 18rim still look SMall on camry, so, my frien went for 21inch. Meet my frien tat day, and he suggested 22inch on aurion will look very classy, and i BELIEVE so~!! but who dares? hrm... tat u will need a VERY nice VERY expensive suspension system to lower and for comfy. I believe 2.5k? btw, rim at 22inch cost wat? at least 5k? so total like 8k? woo, tats the price for some ppl's whole car! hrm... might just rob a bank for those amount of money =_= (i m poor)

u wanna lower in the FASTER AND CHEAPEST WAY? take down the original spring, CUT the inch u wan off! For LOOK only, NOT for comfy, i tried before. But i really recon, aurion's original suspension system is already quite stiff, if its lowered, will be stiffer, badd and very uncomfy... UNLESS, u get someone to custom make for it, do all the calculation and magic to make it lowered, STILL comfy... I delayed my lowering and rim, coz of this problem... But, for 18, the look is nice. p/s: my idea is goin for 21inch?! wahaha

yea, the first step of Tayles should be the best step of all, spending on capacitor, might as well get a better new battery. unless u hv quite a sum of money to spend, then consider to all of them, emphasis on a very COOOOLLL capacitor~

why dont u consider changing the whole HU? coz if u wan to get mp3 and ipod to original HU, for tat money to be spent, rather go for new HU, better sound quality.

erm.. i dont think the mp3 recording matters, tat isnt the problem at all... i own an aurion, 2 reason, yr speaker cant handle and cant play those bass, and u turn too loud... the recording is related to sound quality, not those weird bassy sound. i hv my orginial HU now, goin to ?converter?(forgot the name for it) then converting HU's back wire to RCA, and to amp, and all new speakers, sounds better(A LOT), next week new HU and new amp, wil post pics then. if wat u feel is the weird bassy sound from back speaker, try turning balance? to more front, will feel better, this is wat i did b4 getting new speaker and amp.

If this is wat u want, easy, buy 2 12-14" led or neon, ask a electrician connect to the DOOR, so when it opens, the light turns on, very easy and cheap~ 2002 camry rite? quite new, i dont dare to touch it, heard tat old cars are easier to find out which wire is the correct 1. In u r in vic, i can help with tat. Audiofx in camberwell, also helps doing tat... U can even connect in between and on off switch, dimmer, or sensor for sound system. when starting the car in the morning or cold weather, dont drive it straight away, start the engine and wait, wait till the temp gauge reach above "cold". if u dont like waiting, get a remote starter, start the car and when u walked to the garage and opened the garage door, mb then the gauge reaches above cold. I always urge my sister, to autostart the car before she drive, to warm the engine up, coz i believe no one likes waiting the car to warm up in a cold morning when you are late for class~ p/s: personal opinion, u might hate it or love it, but dont blame me~ thz><"

this isnt toyota's fault, this is their(all dealers') way to make business, and as a car buyer, everyone should beware of these, when the money is in yr hand, u have the power to nego and talk, if u paid deposit, u start lossing 80% of yr negotiating power(or should i say all, if u put too much deposit). Dont put deposit unless everything finalized, if he bullshxt bout smb also interested, and urge u to put deposit, tats farkin bullshxt, there are more similar/same car out there waiting for buyer. IT IS CRUCIAL that buyer check everything carefully, and if the agent said they will fix it, get it written down and signed! Oral presentation cant be proved by law, u will suffer in the end. If u bought it from auction, they wont prepare RACV checks, but u bought from dealer, u should get RACV check by them even before putting deposit. Well, take it as an experience then~

sorry mate i have to disagree ive got 07 sportivo acv40r 2.4 stock as. five monts old i run caltex vortex 98 and on the weekend up the hunter valley i got 6.5l/100 at 110kph and the 2.4 doesnt mind giving the odd sv6 como the odd challenge up the local hill. thumbs up on new model lolz, isnt new model camry weight a bit more? and yr car is too new, wait for few months, coz i have my camry 05, same problem, fuel consumption compare to when i just get it, differ a bit... but i guess tats mb with extra weight from woofer and larger tyre,body kit and wheel MAYBE? hrm..
