  1. Love it :D it's really about time though. Every other Japanese manufacturer still has it's 'fast car' model, but Toyota seem content to drift away from this in favour of the school run, city car. OK it's a big chunk of the market, but is there no room for another supra in the range. ( we didn't even get the MR2 Turbo's over here ) :(
  2. Just looking at the forums, there seems to be no activity in the Avensis section... So I was wondering if the Avensis is available in Aus?? Anyone :)
  3. Don't be fooled.they're STUNNING. One of the Tuning companies in the UK has one.....The only one in the country as far as I know. Saw it at JAE ( massive Jap Show ) last year. EVERYBODY WANTS ONE !
  4. Don't listen to them mate.....Paseos are good cars The car itself shares a lot of components with the Starlet and Sera ( running gear ) hence them all being grouped together on the forum. They'll never be the fastest cars on the road ( round about 100hp if i recall ) but they are mechanically easy to work on and there is plenty of modding capability. Check out the garages on TOC uk for ideas, there's a couple of modded ones in there. If you need any engine details, you can find the engine manual pdf >> Here <<. one rule though, regarding the Seo.........Don't carry passengers taller than about 2 feet in the back ! :P Rich
  5. Yeah, read that one in the papers. one theory put forward too is that men are better at parking than women because from an early age we have to aim ( think going to the loo ! ) and therefore have a natural head start in the accuracy stakes.
  6. So it's got a few teething troubles... :( Bear in mind it's a used car and most ( if not all ) used cars have their faults. Don't give up on it straight away mate. It sounds like the engine is a fit one ( when it starts ). I love the Gen 4 Celica's.....by far the best looking one. Get the problems sorted out, shout up on here if you get stuck or need advice, then get out there and play ! Rich

Certainly doesn't sound right mate. As said above, tinting will hide the appearance. But it does sound a bit shoddy- when you look through a window you're supposed to see what's outside, not have your gaze drawn to manufacturing defects within the glass. Rich

    Welcome aboard Spud ! Rich
  9. Did they charge him with Littering too? ( they would have over here! ) Rich
  10. Like that one ! Never even heard of it before. Looks like it's aimed at the BMW 5 series market. Rich
  11. And the Winner is Analogvoid ! member number 500. Growing very nicely ..... good stuff ! Rich out of interest, when did TOC Australia go online??
  12. I am now. Danthuyers post cleared that one up for me. Over here it's called the Corolla T-Sport ;) A friend of mine in the Sera forum is a motoring journo and he sent me the official DVD promo of the Concept sportivo. Details the whole design, construction and launch. It's a stunning car ( I think so anyway ). A lot of the ideas it showcases are years from becoming reality, but the car itself is based on existing technology.....chassis and engine etc already exist. That's how the Sera came about...so fingers crossed for the Sportivo 2.4 Turbo ! Rich
  13. Cheers for clearing that up for me. B) Just in case you don't know the Sportivo that I was on about, here's a pic If you were all driving these I'd be on the next plane over . Rich
  14. Sportivo?? The only Sportivo I'm familiar with is the Gull wing concept car that Toyota Australia did last year. Reasonably sure you're not referring to that one ! :)
