  2. Uh oh. Looks like a big shower heading our way. Might have to pass. I don't dare to do Nebo in the wet in my car.

    Sorry Guni....some other time perhaps!

    :(

Sorry...normally I wouldn't pull the plug on someone like that, but I know how my car handles in the wet and it is SCARY. I've nearly bought the farm when it understeered on a wet day....as much as I love Nebo runs, I know that if I do it in the wet my life expectancy will exponentially decrease.

A wet nebo usually incs leaves and branches on the road... not nice

  3. wow... what a MASSIVE turnout...

there were only three of us... all aurion owners too... so shame on you rolla boys!! :P hehe

Got a sportivo aurion this time. Nebo ????

heading back wed evening though .....

So either tonight or tomorrow night.....

Probably not a good idea to nebo for a month as I saw on the news a few days ago some kid died while speeding around Mt Cootha, and therefore I would predict a large police presence on the Mt runs.

  4. Proof that Men Have Better Friends...

    Friendship among Women:

A woman didn't come home one night.

The next morning she told her husband that she had slept over at a friend's house.

The man called his wife's 10 best friends. None of them knew anything about it.

    Friendship among Men:

A man didn't come home one night.

The next morning he told his wife that he had slept over at a friend's house.

The woman called her husband's 10 best friends. Eight confirmed that he had slept over, and two said he was still there.

  5. Can vouch for Bob Jane at Springwood/ Underwood. They can be a bit slow and are always friggen busy but they are loyal to return customers with good deals. Cameron the owner(the BIG guy) is the man to speak to or Jason as he has been there since I started to deal with them over 10 years ago. Both have good knowledge and offer both the pro's and con's of individual brands and don't try and push you towards the brand they want to sell. Tell them what you want as far as performance/cost etc goes and they'll offer you the choices to suit you and your car. The correct choices as far as load ratings etc etc.

Saw Cameron on the biggest loser on tv last night! Wooo go Cameron!

  6. rugged, i should of worded it better, that was nothing to do with race, I meant, why let more people in when people who are already here are finding it hard to get work and being layed off (like my mum who had a high paying government job) and handing over large amounts of cash to them, makes no sense to me...

The attitude you have is not very Australian for some who claims to be a very proud one. I thought part of being an aussie is lending a hand to those in need and less fortunate than us.

Your connection between your mum getting fired and helping the refugees shows how naive your thinking is. She got fired because the government doesn’t need her anymore. It has nothing to do with refugees. Lay-offs happens every day (with refugees or not), it’s just the way it is.

  7. We shouldn't talk about this though... DHC09 will come along and tell me to join a debating forum again.

:P At least most people most understand this issue, and can some what contribute to a healthy discussion.

I personally think its a waste of money as well. Like how long will the spending of the $950 last? 2-3months? And do we suddenly come out of rescission when all that is spent?

The irony here is that its an expensive "cheap fix". But you can't deny it, it sure does win the votes of low-income families. Mind-games yO

The labour government should also be sending refugees back the way they come too, there aint enough to go around us let alone some other sponge (I am an idiot i swear).

You have no way near the intelligence nor the background knowledge to even begin talking about that issue. So please sit back down to your beer and techno.

At least Leory has some brains.
